He didn't move for 90 minutes as he played through the entire album with a few older hit scattered throughout. We saw him twice on that tour 30 years ago and it is the oddest concerts I've ever witnessed!

This song 😭 As much as I love this song, it's very hard to listen to because it reminds me of my son, Bradlee. I feel Eric's pain, not just through his lyrics but also as a parent who outlived their child. Thank you Brad and Lex ❤️

Knowing the genesis of this song, it hits hard for the parent and the child.

He wrote it about his son’s death. He was a legend before this song because of his song writing. I was blessed to see him live a month ago in Ft. Worth, TX. If you want to experience Sir Eric Clapton (yes, he was knighted), dig deep. One of the greatest on guitar. Thank you for sharing!🖤

This was from Clapton's first album after his 4 year old son fell to his death. The tragedy had been in the media and many wondered if would continue after it. You're right, most people knew the story and recognized the connection as soon as they heard this.

Great reaction. Tragic story behind the song. Eric is and will always be, one of the most unique and soulful modern Blues Players. (As opposed to traditional Blues fron the '20's and '30's. His vocal styles are incredibly unique t too. Please check out tracks from the Albums "Money and Cigarettes" AND "August". He's a very special Blues man.

White room by Cream that you reviewed . Eric Clapton was the lead guitarist of Cream. The 3 members of Cream were considered the Cream of the musicians hence the name of the Band.

Clapton was also the singer in Derek And The Dominos. You need to react to the studio version of "Layla" by them. So whatever you do, please just make sure it is the Derek And The Dominos version for some AWESOME ELECTRIC GUITAR and PIANO playing. 🙏

Yeah there was some sort of a movie that use that song or something but yeah you know what I love about that song it's got the steel pedal guitar in it it's nice to hear that out of the context of just country music and and there was a fretless bass that's awesome I can tell by the way the action is very cool
