I love watching these guys! I think their reactions are truly genuine, loved watching them seeing Jolene by Dolly Parton and the Creep by Radiohead. They have no weird preconceptions about they style of music or the genre. My one question, did their moms not play music when they were growing up?? My family had music playing all the time, I love all styles of music going back to the 50s and I'm an 80s/90s kinda girl

Krystal A I love 2 pac & Biggie but before their untimely and unfortunate deaths, the Fugees album “the score” out sold, won more Grammys and was critically acclaimed by the mainstream, underground, streets and music critics around 1996-1997 than any hip hop acts. That’s rare where all types of fans bases love and appreciate your work on a particular album. I feel like each passing year, people forget about the fugees. I still prefer pac, big, big l and wu-tang but none of those guys did well commercially (when they were alive pac/big) than the Fugees did with “the score”

Kids today don't listen to the radio like we did. We heard these incredible songs from a fairly wide scope over and over and over. They find their music on social media, streaming services, and video gaming: Tik Tok, Instagram, KZfaq, Snapchat, Twitch, Roblox, etc... often used as background. So while we were "served" playlists on limited channels and platforms (radio, TV, cable, Albums/Tapes/Cds/Videos/DVDs), they have far more options (extensive media, endless sites) - the world has opened up.
