_Used to be_ a cappella. These days, probably 20% of their songs are instrumentally accompanied in some way. Most of the time they're up front about it, but sometimes they hide the instrumentation so that you really have to listen for it. For example, pay close attention to the choruses on End of the Road, and you'll hear an organ pad.

The song is over 110 years old. It is about a guy who has had more than a few run-ins with the law and now has to leave his native state of Kentucky to get away. He does not think he will be able to return. He does not really say what he did but, it was huge. He says goodbye to his woman and says he will meet again on God's Golden Shore.

Guys, this was filmed in south Alabama near the Florida panhandle. The song was made famous in the movie O Brother Where Art Though in 2000 starring George Clooney, although the song is from 1913. This is all A cappella. We call it a nomonica guys. The beat boxer is the founder and the guy with the beard and glasses are from Minnesota. The others are from the south, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama. They do a mean cover of Boys To Men End of the Road. They are the best of the best A Cappella on the planet. Great reaction guys.

Additionally, "How Great Thou Art" is incredibly moving, "Sea Shanty Medly" is just pure fire, and "End of The Road" will shock you. And I heard you mention "Ring of Fire", it is a classic Johnny Cash song of which HF does a great cover (along with Avi from Pentatonix, another good group). You can not go wrong with Home Free.

Straight a cappella for sure! The harmonica supplied by their beat boxer extraordinaire Adam Rupp. In concert he even has a 5-10 min segment doing a solo.

You ALL NEED to see the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (2000) in which this tune is featured prominently! It Stars George Clooney, John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson. It's a HOOT!

This song was originally published by Dick Burnett-a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky- It was originally titled Farewell Song.n It was first recorded in 1928 by Emry Arthur. It is considered American folk music (bluegrass). Most people who listen to Bluegrass know it when it was recorded by the Stanley Brothers (one of the best bluegrass bands with Ralph Stanley-also one of the most notable bluegrass singers) in the 50's. It became well known when it was featured in the film "Oh brother, Where art thou" as sung by the Soggy Bottm Boys.

React to their version of Boyz II Men - End of the Road, I am sure your parents might have played that back in the day. Older tunes, The O'Jays - Love Train. Their version has their fans (called Home Fries) in the video. Adam Rupp (beatboxer) has a video from 2015 (red shirt) that shows his skills. You cannot go wrong checking them out.

Every single sound you heard was from their voices. They are 100% acapella. The very few times they have an instrument in a song, they will show it so we all know they are using it. That hardly ever happens though. I went to see them live last October... Yes, they are THAT good! Us Home Free fans call ourselves "Home Fries" I subbed to see you guys react to more Home Free songs 🙂

You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Ring Of Fire", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley" etc.

We absolutely want more Home Free! Check out "End of the Road" for sure. And "Ring of Fire" and "The Butt's Remix." Whatever you do, save "Mayday" until you have heard at least six of their other songs. Front left (overalls, glasses, and glorious beard): Rob Lundquist, tenor, from Minnesota. Front center (lead on this song): Austin Brown, tenor, from Georgia. Front right (soul-snatching stare): Tm Foust, bass, from Texas. Rear left (vest): Adam Chance - called Chance, baritone, from Alabama. Rear right (suspenders): Adam Rupp, founding member and beatboxer extraordinaire who can also sing, from Minnesota. They are incredibly talented. You really can't go wrong with any song by them.
