Jelly Roll is very open about his past. At 16 years old he was charged and convicted of a felony and was in and out of prison for years until he found out he had a daughter . He is married to Bunnie XO and together they are raising his daughter. He is so funny , humble and an activist trying to help juveniles . He started out rapping, then rock, and now country . He has a beautiful voice.

Even though he is known for his rapping skills , i'm so glad he found his singing voice & i like the fact that his latest album features this voice. Great emotional , raw truth song.

He’s deeply involved with helping young people that have crossed the law, both with his time and money…Being convicted of a felony at 16, he’s trying to be there for them…where no one was for him. Besides being a phenomenal singer, he’s living proof that it’s never too late to turn your life around!

I prefer this version. He did a duo with with Laney Wilson. I think this version is much more powerful. He just posted a documentary about his life. Great Reaction. Much love❤

Jelly Roll performed this with Lainey Wilson on the Country Music Awards and on American Idol finale the other night. He has cleaned his act up from what I understand. He also has performed on the Grand Ole Opry.

jelly roll just did an interview with Howard Stern .He said he was a drug dealer for years and after he got out of prison the last time he would sing at Karaoke bars ,long story short that's where he was discovered
