The song is inspired by a murder that occurred in the late 80's in Argentina. A girl was found stabbed and dismembered in her apartment. Later it was learned that they were 4 friends who had gone on vacation together and that night they had decided to go dancing at a disco. But the girl who would later be killed decided to stay because she was tired and wanted to sleep. The others left her in her apartment and went dancing. But almost arriving at the club, one of the girls realized that she had not brought her documents and they were not going to let her into the club, so she decided to go back to the apartment to look for them. Upon entering, she saw that all the lights were off, and thinking that her friend wanted to sleep, and in order not to wake her, she groped for her documents in the dark and went back to the others. the next morning when they returned to the apartment they found a macabre scene, her friend murdered, the whole room covered in blood and on the wall next to the corpse, the murderer had written with the victim's blood: "Thank you for don't turn on the light.
