In this case it refers to the down spiral of drug addiction and you see how the meaning and the uplifting music collide beautifully, the verse ‘the blind eyes wide open’ I interpret as the final stage or death. No need to research beforehand, it's nice just to let yourself get hit by music like a full speed train. This band blends dark, party, irony and fun all at the same time (that's the Argentine way), with a mix of rock, middle east, latino, ska, pop and whatever takes to make a mind blowing music. It's worth to remark that even being quite an old band, starting in the middle 70s, they always kept an underground profile (almost no TV appearances, no massive marketing, etc). 100% Argentinian stuff. Glad you enjoyed it.

You really jam with this song, glad you found this iconic and legendary argentinian band, pretty sure you already got some background from the comments so I'll leave that, btw you got a nice Spanish pronunciation, did you study before or got Spanish relatives? Anyway so cool you're discovering rock around the world and expanding your music horizon, you also said you love fusion so i would like to recommend you another band or group that can rock the crowd insanely like this one, trust me you're gonna love them, the group is called BABYMETAL, they're from Japan and they combine metal sound with J-pop and many more rhythms, trust me, you didn't see such an experience like that ever before. Since their label company is really hard to deal due to copyright blocked issues is really tricky to recommend some clips i would love for you for first time watching so instead I'll go with a usually safe to react but also popular and beloved song from them called _"Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!"_ live at "Legend 1997" (in 2013) you can find a clip safe to react at Gans Tomas channel under "Head Bangya" title. What's even more exciting for us BM fans is after more than year without new songs, live performance and going for a hiatus, they came back recently with some fantastic news with a new album coming soon and live performance for next year, so hopefully by that time you will know something about this talented and amazing group of three girls with so much energy and a metal band backing them up.
