Welcome to Lara Land. No nicer place to be. 😅 This is an original she wrote based on Albinoni's Adagio. She calls herself "a songwriter with a voice" as she composes/writes (in French, English, Italian and Spanish) the vast majority of her material. That understanding of song structure I think is what makes her covers of other people's songs...jaw-dropping as well. I'll second everyone who is recommending her cover of Je Suis Malade, specifically the performance from this same concert From Lara With Love. There's a vid with onscreen "French & English substitles" available. Lyrics are important to understanding her choices, imo. It was my gateway drug to her work a few years ago. Absolutely astonishing. Great reaction. 🖖🏾
