LTE released a brand new track today for the first time in over 20 years! It’s called “The Passage of Time” a reaction to that would be amazing given how much you enjoyed this. Also I wouldn’t mind a reaction if you listened to the rest of this concert it’s incredible! They even have some improv jams in it as well.

That was John Petruccis baby literally recorded on that album. They recorded that album in less than 2 weeks completely improvised

Mike's biggest drum hero is Neil Peart. You can often tell that his style is primarily based off of Neil's. Some years back, he formed a tribute band to Rush called Cygnus and the Sea Monsters and played at least one live show. If you're interested, you can see it on KZfaq.

Glad you got to some LTE, man! They were always one of my go-tos when I was heavy into the prog scene. I find that it feels a little dated listening to it now, but their technical abilities are unreal...definitely a masterpiece of its time.

You say Master musicians, on top of there game, yes very true. Now what I see (as one that has played in bands long ago) are 4 guys with minimal equipment, like playing in a bar, out there having the time of there life jamming tunes. This is what they love to do and they are having a blast. Marvin its nice to see someone enjoy this music style that maybe you don't listen to on a regular basis and bring a different perspective, so thanks! BTW I like your analogy of this song, never thought that maybe its about the 9 months before the water broke, I always just thought it was the start of life and the highs and lows to life. Only 4 people could really say what its about but they probably would say its a fun song to jam too.
