Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. The Wolfpack, Lovebites fans around the world, welcome you. A few recommendations that you might like to give a listen. For more hard rock stuff, Thunder Vengeance and Winds of Transylvania, the second written for an Anime series called Vlad Love are good ones. For more melodic with classical overtones, Frozen Serenade, Edge of the World, and Swan Song with Chopin piano introduction. The guitarist with long black hair who is to the right of the stage, Miyako, is a classically trained pianist. I am nearly 75 and have been listening to heavy rock/metal since the whole genre kicked off in the late 1960's. I regard Lovebites as one of the best bands I have ever heard. Every member of the band is at the top of her game. Looking forward very much to seeing them play live in London in June. 😃🐺🤘

Rest assured that any recommendation for a reaction will be to this standard with zero exceptions. 56 studio recordings, all but 3 or 4 have been played live and for those that haven’t, blame Covid. At 64 years of age I will tell you with total conviction that this is the best band my eyes and ears have ever experienced. And I include *EVERY* modern recording artist in that statement which, before replying, takes into account every single aspect of the band, not just the music and how outstandingly it’s played, every single time.

Hi, the bassist who tapped is called Miho, a founding member of Lovebites who left the band in Aug 2021. The band then went on a hiatus until they found another new bassist through auditions whose name is Fami. So whenever u see Miho play the video is made before 2021.

Simply put....I was 11 when I heard Zeppelin in 1971, and that began my metal journey. Now, I easily say Lovebites is my all-time favorite band. Many of the Japanese female metal bands are excellent, superb and tight musicians. If I'm on a panel, I vote Lovebites the most talented, and by a decent margin. But that's just me.

In our current time Lovebites is one of the best powermetal/trash band in the world. Not a bad song in any of their albums. Technically are each member just brilliant. Live performances allways on point. As said about the songs the songwriting is excellent. Top that with humble beutiful very loveable women . And you got Lovebites. Since this concert they got a new bassist. (Fami) Thr old bassist seen here was an excellent finger picking bassist. But the new one has an wider skillset with slaps and many other techniques. Lots of Japanese bass players can tap. One thing you will surely notice is that Japanese musicians are very technically proficient no matter the musical instrument. Probably more so than their avg western counterparts. As you are just starting your journey into the Japanese music scene, you will find even more muscians and bands that will blow your mind.

I've been listening to metal for 5 decades - Slayer, Priest, Maiden, Metallica, Testament, Anthrax, etc. and all are awesome, but sometimes they miss with a track or even an album. I have some favorites with Lovebites, but they just don't miss overall - they don't have any songs I would not listen to over & over. They are just incredible. If they played in the 80's/90's they would likley be considered 1 of the top 3-4 metal bands of all time (I believe they are the best). Lovebites could cover anything those bands put out, but I would love to see them try to cover a Lovebites track. SMH
