Hi from France: This concert, which was played during the very severe covid restrictions in Japan, was superbly held, if we except the atmosphere of the crowd, which was a little dampened by these restrictions (do not move from your place, remain seated and hold a distance between each spectator, no shouting, just applauding...). However, regarding this recording, I find it a shame that the sound mixing overwhelms Midori's playing a little. She performs an almost uninterrupted sequence of solos throughout this piece. And which solos? LOVEBITES is starting a world tour these days which will first pass through Europe and perhaps we will have the opportunity to see Midori play on equipment other than ESP, since she recently did the acquisition of an SG!!!! Enjoy Wolfpack!

fyi, after members enlistment, there are more than 100(ig) new releases from BTS & the members. dont have to wait for them to comeback because they constantly release new music. just few days ago JK release a single Never Let Go for Festa. before that, RM release new album, RIGHT PLACE WRONG PEOPLE. before that, V released a single Fri(end)s and Jhope released new album HOPE ON THE STREET. these are all releases that i can remember and all this is in 2024 only. oh and today Jin is come back from military so we expect new music from Jin too somewhere around this year.

Again, thanks for reacting to another Band-Maid song (one of their early ones). I love it when new reactors are willing to view early music by the Maids. I believe it helps you understand where the band came from and their musical development over the years. All of us Maidiacs have done that and have come to respect and appreciate these talented young women for their accomplishments.

Always loved the ending scene of the MV. When Saiki walks up to the Saiki sitting down and grabs the VR set. Always a bit spooky. It is a great song and when Miku sings the backing repeat of 'The Whole Wide World' it sticks in my brain for ages. As for VR nobody can tell me this life isn't a VR game. Nothing could be this mad.

Yeah, it's hard to tell who's who in this group from get-go. In this video original vocalist and one of founders of Nightwish Tarja Turunen sings. Band recorded most songs and albums with her. This album was recorded with a choir, which you have heard. On earlier albums opera choir effect was created with Tarja's vocals. This is not a difficult task for her, as she has studied choral and church singing and classical vocals.

I've actually seen her live, when she was with Lipstick. The band are technically still together but haven't been releasing stuff recently. Their previous vocalist was Mayu, now of Nemophila, who performed then as Sindy. Yes, Sally shreds. A better match for her might be Sakura of Hagane. They used to be a twin-axe band, but recently re-formed as a four-piece with just Sakura on lead. They are worth checking out in any case. Sakura shreds like a demon.

It is Symphonic Rock. Does not matter if you are not 100% sure about it...The whole stadium did enjoy it, and it is pretty hard to get tickets for a Nighjtwish-concert. Stick to banjo if that is your thing.

No research is 100% fine. Saw them live twice and they are extremely talented and charismatic band. From watching and listening to Japanese metal & rock the past 6-7 yrs is that the muscianship is off the charts. Just learning to play is not the goal, it's mastering their instruments. You can go about 10-15 deep in each instrument category and find some elite level musicians. It's really a tight knit group where they have either played together in the past, currently doing a collab or attending each other's concerts. I rarely listen to anything else it's so good.

I wonder who is suggesting these Nightwish performances to you. S/he must be out of touch with their best live performances, like those at Wacken 2013, Wembley Arena & Tampere 2015 just to mention a few.

Nightwish in its first era together with the singer Tarja Turunen was more metal, like a rock opera, after the arrival of Anette Olzon, the style changed, we heard more folk elements, children's choir and more orchestral elements. With the arrival of Floor, the band anchored for good in orchestral sequences and the original style is no longer heard. So it can be divided into three eras.

Hello again. Today you met for the first time Tarja Turunen, the first soloist of the band (between 1996 and 2005). Her vocal style is predominantly classical / operatic with Gothic accents, which I think caught your attention. By the way, as other fans have told you in the comments, Nightwish uses audio tracks recorded with choirs and symphony orchestra, so your hearing did not deceive you.

A bigger symphonic metal band like Nightwish, will use some backup track, as they work with symfonic orchestras and choirs, thats imposible to bring on tour.. well i guess you can, but that would cost a lot..lol but they bring all they can with band members, as live as posible..

Nightwish work to a pre-recorded backing track. Pre-recorded by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, The London Metro Voices Choir and the London Young Musicians Children's Choir. This was their original singer Tarja (Tarya) Turunen, their 2nd singer was Anette Olzen and Floor Jansen is their current singer. Tarja was Opera trained

If Band-Maid is my favourite Rock band, then Nemophila is my favourite Metal band. These ladies have it all..Passion Work Heart Talent. They play whatever they wanna play and killed it! Magical band, amazing musicians, great humans. Even now, after Saki left, the Four Musketeers are crashing everything on their way to the Top. They deserve so much more Glory here in Western World. Phenomenal band 🔥🤘❤️
