After the lead singer Kurt Cobain died, Nirvana's drummer (Dave Grohl) is the lead singer of the Foo Fighters. He's an incredible drummer and singer. HIGHLY recommend Foo Fighters "THE BEST OF YOU" original video 🙌

This song literally changed my life. I was 13 when it was released. I had always enjoyed listening to music. But when I heard this song I wanted to become a musician. I taught myself to play drums watching videos of Nirvana. Got a tattoo of their smiley face logo on my arm because they were such an influence in my life.

I was at high school when this album came out. I bought the cassette and heard it on repeat in full volume in my first car. Good times. RIP Kurt.

I remember the first time i heard this song. I was 14 and it blew my mind. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots. Pillars of my young teenage years.

Singer Kurt Cobain shot himself. The drummer Dave Grohl then became the iconic in his own right front man singer songwriter of another one of the great American rock bands of all time the Foo Fighters. Start with The Pretender video.

There’s no way it can be explained how this song hit us when it came out; you just had to be there. It was just SO different from the glam and and flashiness and hair metal bands we were used to in the 80s (bands like Guns N’ Roses, Skid Row, Poison, Warrant). This song came out when I was 13 and subsequently threw me headlong into the grunge scene throughout my time in high school-so glad I got to be a teen in the 90s 😊 The lyric “Here we are now, entertain us” is such a 90s teen vibe

I saw them in seattle once before they were anyone. Dave Grohl (drummer) Blew my mind . He was hitting the drums harder than anyone I have ever heard. We could feel the beat in our bodies, small clubs... He is an exceptional drummer. then Nevermind came out and the rest is history!
