John Andrews That song makes me cry. I wish he would do Hank Williams Sr, “I’m so lonesome I could Cry.” My Grandma used to cry every time she heard that song. Hank Sr. had a beautiful voice and I’m not a huge country fan, he was an icon in his day, he died too young as well like so many do. Sad.

@@briann7495 Just what are you trying to say here because that is total crock? As talented as they all are, Patsy does not have to climb to their level. Patsy died in 1963, how many of your picks were heard of then? The best you could do that sentence is, change to a question, and ask, "where do they rank up there beside her? That is Patsy Cline. Don't lump her in with people you like, just because you are limited; and that they were the only singers you ever heard of, that you liked. Just from depositing that list, tells me that you know exactly "zero" about artists/performers & their talent. Nobody, nobody should be lumped in with Patsy Cline...she was unique. That's the same as saying Roy Orbison has peers.

At age 13, Patsy Cline was hospitalized with a throat infection and rheumatic fever. Speaking of the incident in 1957 she said, "I developed a terrible throat infection and my heart even stopped beating. The doctor put me in an oxygen tent. You might say it was my return to the living after several days that launched me as a singer. The fever affected my throat and when I recovered I had this booming voice like Kate Smith's." It was during this time she developed an interest in singing. (Source Wikipedia)
