I have always been an outcast, never married, no children, just me. I filled that hole with music, I play guitar and have since I was in my early teens. In my middle 50's now and it is still just me, but when I feel the need I play, I do it for myself, not anyone else. All you weirdos and outcasts, you are not alone for there are many just like us, please remember that. I say direct your energy and time into music, art, anything that pleases you, over time you will become a giant. Peace.

Most people miss the meaning of this song. It's about a young guy who has a crush on a girl who is way out of his league. She's like an angel, floats in a beautiful world and she has perfect skin. It's why he wishes he was special and had a perfect body and why he want's her to notice when he's not around. Unfortunately for him, she thinks he's a creep and a weirdo.

I went through a Radiohead phase back in the 90's. Listening to this makes me realise I'm still in a Radiohead phase.

Thom didnt like the way he looked. He had a lazy right eye and tried to get surgery but didnt work. He liked a girl that he was obsessed with who came to his concerts and didnt feel he was good enough for her but wished he could

As an oldster, I highly recommend weird. Weird is good. So much better than being bland, fitting in, following the crowd. Be you. Always be you. Embrace the weird. Ideas come from weird people. Art comes from weird people. Hugely intelligent people are often deeply weird. Weird is good.

Most of the grunge songs are deep and heartfelt, like pearl jam or nirvana, not just angsty and loud. You should listen to offspring, self esteem, or keep'em separated. Radiohead are, however on a different level. They are phenomenal

This the song they're known for, but Radiohead is one of those bands you can do full album reviews on. Every track is as deep and sounds amazing.

Well said about accepting people who are different. We all are in some way. The sad part of the song for me is that someone has internalized that he doesn’t belong. No one deserves to feel like that.
