Saw Him perform on a floating Ampitheatre. When playing "ADDICTED TO LOVE" during a nighttime Summer Concert, The insects were relentless, He sang "might as well face it your infested with bugs"😳😄🤣😂🤣😂Glad you appreciate him!

I love Robert's unanimated action in this video. His expressions kill me. : ) MTV used to be so cool it was all videos, I remember sitting in front of my sister's TV binge-watching MTV waiting to see who came out with a video next. I don't know what is even on MTV now, I think it's more reality TV....what a shame. His music definitely makes me move and sticks in my head. God Bless.

Such a fun and unique talent. Sadly passed almost 20 years ago at the young age of 54 :( I personally liked the use of the ladies more in Addicted to Love but a great choice. I suggest I Didn't Mean to Turn You On.

My favorite Robert Palmer moment is during the American Music Awards.. He was smoking a cigarette and had a drink in his hand and walked up in his suit when he won with the cigarette and drink in his hand walking up there.. He was the coolest! Oh how I love him! I have all his albums.. He was soulful and was the James Bond of music videos 💕💃🎵🎶

Sadly Robert passed away. He was in a fantastic band in the 70s Emerson Lake and Palmer - a lot of hits. Also his song Some Like It Hot with the Power Station (with members of Duran Duran) is great I recommend it

RIP Robert Palmer. I saw him in concert. Everybody in the crowd wore suits and ties. Palmer always dressed in 5000 dollar suits. He came out in the crowd telling everybody how good everybody looked.His band was session players.

New York guitarist Eddie Martinez played on this track and Addicted to Love, he also played with RUN-DMC. The songs are from Robert Palmer's album "Heavy Nova" which was engineered by my friend Tim Kramer. Both Tim and Robert are deceased.

The great Robert Palmer, superb voice, underrated song writer and suave persona just like Bryan Ferry (check out some of Ferry's work with Roxy Music and then his solo releases). He got a Grammy Award for this song.

I love the way he and the models are so serious and with minimal facial expressions yet you can still rock out to his songs! And if you haven’t yet, check out his side band Power Station (with two members of Duran Duran). Funky stuff along with his powerful voice, it’s awesome. I’d suggest Some Like It Hot or Bang a Gong (Get It On).

He was also part of a supergroup called Power Station. It had alot of members from other big name groups that came together. Two of their songs were "Some like it Hot" and "Get it on" you should check out those two songs.

This song and video was so popular it was also a Pepsi commercial featuring the soft drink as irresistable. It was simply an irresistable fad and craze with the video vixens💋💃😏

I've seen this video dozens of times but I thoroughly enjoyed watching again thru your eyes.. He passed away too young at the age of 54.. Thanks for sharing this video.

Check out his work with "POWER STATION". They were made up Robert Palmer, two members from DURAN DURAN and the drummer was from the group CHIC.
