The guy with folded arms or hands in the pocket is their vocal leader, main producer, song writer and he is not insecure, he is just that confident to sing in any posture.

its not a racial slur.. in korean, niga = you / naega = me(i am).. and the one you mentioned who seemed insecure is Woozi, their main producer and vocal leader.. he's not insecure or anything, its just how he sings sometimes, he's too relaxed or comfortable and confident about his skills that he doesn't mind doing the proper posture or anything

Woozi, the guy who keep folding his arm and put his hands in his pocket is actually THE BOSS of the group, he is the leader of the vocal unit and the producer of this group, almost all seventeen songs are produced by him. So it's not bc he insecure he just introvert and an observer and being relaxed

There are 13 members actually they are global award winners and the second biggest selling group in South Korean pop. They were just announced as the concert event of the year award winners. They are self producing, write and compose their own songs and choreograph their own dances by the way they are the best dancers in Korean pop with the best synchronization. Yes anyone of them could be a solo artist but they have known each other for over 10 years and consider each other family. They debuted as a group in 2015 but had trained together before debut. They have won awards in South Korea, Japan Vietnam and the United States. Some of their award wins have been for group of the year, album of the year, best choreography, Producer of the year and many others. They came from an agency that was on the verge of bankruptcy and are now one of the biggest selling groups in the world

You're definitely very used to the individualistic western mindset where a group can't exist unless they inevitably go solo 😭 Seventeen are in their 8th year as a group since they debuted and renewed their contract just this year so they're not going anywhere. They've known each other for over 10 years now and all the members have solo songs and individual solo work along with seventeen. In Kpop and honestly in most places, having solo work and being in a group can co-exist.

For real. Ever since I got into kpop, I've realized just how silly it is that an artist always leaves the group they're in to have a solo career here in the west.

Yeah going solo doesn’t always work out but I can say for Justin Timberlake it was the best thing he ever did! He carried *NSYNC. Going Solo allows you to showcase your talent a little more in my opinion. Your not waiting around until it’s your turn to sing a line or two. 😄 good for these guys staying together though it means they are a tight nit group!,💪🏻🔥💪🏻

@@chasalbert5113 there's definitely benefits to having a solo career as you mentioned, but I just meant that they can be a solo artist and stay in the group at the same time. Like leaving the group isn't a requirement to be a solo artist.

they make most money from their world tour , their concert just got an award as the best concert this year and make profit billions won and all of them have their own individual promotion as actor, musical actors, solo singer, MC, variety shows, models for photoshoot and ads, even building investment and so on, besides their groups performance . And since they produce their own songs, they also got profit from the royalty. They're rich.

kpops completely different from the western music industry. theyre already great before they start but once the join a company theyre trained non stop and constantly practicing every moment for years. the groups become great friends and even family unlike 99% of groups from the western industry. they wouldn’t dream of going solo. they may do solo work on the side but they would never leave the group to be solo full time.

sorry but i couldn't continue watching after your ignorant 'n word' comment. you can clearly see they do not speak english. you can clearly see the subtitles are in korean. do you honestly think they just go around saying racial slurs and no one bats an eye? use some logic and common sense before assuming things out of ignorance for other languages and cultures. the korean language predates the existence of that racial slur. hope you can educate yourself more in the future.

(There is a summary in English after Korean) '니'는 'you' 라는 뜻을 가진 주어일 뿐이고, '가'는 한국에서 쓰는 부사입니다. 😊 (short english ver.) 'ni' means 'you' and 'ga' just adverb in Korea... I don't know English very well, but the word 'niga' is also used in everyday conversation in Korea. Almost all K-pop songs have no race-related words. 😭😭

You probably got scolded enough in the comments lmao, but yeah. Thanks to reacting to our boys, and also kpop industry works very different than western one does. The rules and what they say or do is very restricted, and the company is the one that makes all the decisions. Seventeen tends to be very down to earth and honest, so their content doesn't seem forced or anything. They're genuinely such good friends. They also didn't know each other before being in a group, and being good at dancing & singing/rapping is a given in the kpop industry because of the amount they train.

Seventeen is a group that always stay humble despite of their high immense of popularity. Woozi, the shortest dude is the masternind behind all of SVT musics, he writes and composes 99% of SVT songs, and other members also often write and help with the composing. Woozi is the youngest composer in South Korea that has over 100+ song registered. The Performance team aids with the creation of SVT choreographies. They just don't sit around and waiting for the good songs to be given to them, they create their own music and color, as far as getting involved with giving the ideas for the contents of their variety shows, fan events and concerts. They have several foreign members and they always respect them and treat them equally. When they write songs, they always check to make sure there are no offensive lyrics, for example when they write lyrics about girls/women, they always check with their female staffs if they somehow might feel offended or not. These guys can go solo for sure, but they choose to stick together because they feel being part of SVT is a very proud thing for them and their entire youth and long time hardships are poured into Seventeen. The relationship between the members are extremely great, none of the members is greedy for more popularity, they are basically one big family. They fight, argue and later make up, and they don't feel embarrassed to share their stories with their fans.

Thank you for reacting to Seventeen's Killing Voice and glad to see you enjoy it! Also thank you for complimenting them for having solid voices to the point they'll easily succeed solo.🥰 Really love these boys who have been growing together strongly for 7 years (will be 8 next May) but are still as humble as ever. Hopefully, they'll climb to the higher pinnacle of success together strongly as they've always been while also doing their own solo successfully on the other side.🤍 Hope you'll enjoy and love their other masterpiece as well! In case you're personally interested, all of them actually already had their own solo songs, but not all of them got released officially. Many are just performed live at their past concerts, but some are also released officially or uploaded by fans. Some official solo releases you can find on YT are Jeonghan (Dream), Jun (Limbo, Silent Boarding Gate, Crow), Hoshi (Spider, Horangi Power, Tiger ft. Tiger JK), Wonwoo & Mingyu (Bittersweet), Woozi (Ruby), THE8 (Side by Side, Hai Cheng, Dreams Come True), DK (You're My Christmas & When Will We Learn from his Xcalibur musical play), Vernon (Bands Boy), Dino (High Five). Seungkwan did so many OSTs and covers including As It Was and Juice. Joshua did a cover of Double Take. Joshua and Vernon also have 2Minus1, an English digital track they sang together from the album Attacca. DK also has many covers and Go!, an OST he sang for a K-drama. I also want to recommend you personally listen to a solo by Woozi, What Kind of Future (not officially released yet but you can easily find clips uploaded by fans). Our vocal boss sings it like he's been through 15 divorces😭😭 Seventeen mainly consists of 3 units (vocal, performance, and hip hop) which also have their own unit songs, but they also got divided into other units for some songs. We got BooSeokSoon (BSS) Unit with its powerful Just Do It and we also have the Leader Unit (3 leaders from each unit) which recently comeback with Cheers. In the Semicolon album, we got 4 units formed by members from each birthday year (95, 96, 97, and 98+99 the maknae). And other mixed units formed during their 7 years which I can't list one by one😅 SEVENTEEN will release their Japan album, Dream on Nov 9 with Dream as the title track and there's also MV for it. Hope you'll hear and like it!💙

A solo career may indeed have its own advantages, such as when you bring a work that is 'only yours' without having to share it (in various ways). I agree and hope that one day the SVT members will step up to that stage one by one, but that doesn't mean they have to 'separate' from the group called 'SEVENTEEN' which they have been for years. If they can do both, why not? CARATs will definitely support whatever they choose and do as long as it's good and positive.

It was a bit too poppy for my taste, not that there's anything wrong with that...just not my jam. I do like some pop music, but not a lot of it. This reminds me of those boy bands that were (maybe still are?) everywhere.
