I rode a motor bike around London delivering parcels when that track came out and it did not matter where you rolled up that song was beating out everywhere,funny enough one of their backing dancers worked with us on a pedal bike all the women wanted him turning up cant understand why

I was lucky enough to see Soul II Soul at The Ritz in NYC. 30 people on the stage and a fashion show! They were incredible live. I recommend listening to their catalog of music. Just amazing.

In my neck of the woods, this was an after hours jam. I remember back in the day the clubs used to broadcast on FM radio, so I'd be coming home from the club and tuning into the station broadcasting from the club I just came from and this song was always playing.

Their movement was called Funky Dreads... The used to play at this club in London called The Fridge, bldg painted with a big refrigerator door on the outside!!!! 1990... Back in the day.... They also had a clothing store in London named the same as the group/movement/sound system, Soul II Soul. History facts.

When I was teen back in the late 80s, Soul II Soul were being played in every London club around. Guaranteed EVERYBODY would get on that dance floor. Caron Wheelers's solo stuff is also great. Her track "Livin' In the Light" is another banging tune. I would highly recommend you guys giving it a listen!
