A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZfaq. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZfaq I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZfaq won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZfaq channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Love that story. Used to go to the Back Room in Austin late 80s and watched The Dangerous Toys start as a cover band and eventually make their way to MTV. Not comparing them to SRV by any stretch but my experience was similar. Watching a band grow up from the beginnings and then making it big was fun! Left Austin in the 90s and was sad to hear that bastion of heavy metal is no more. Lots of good times in that place.

@@jamescarter6130 how about Oat Willie's? Is it still there? (Had same experience hanging w/ SRV & the gang...& of course the "after party" after the riff raff cleared out (lol) was where it was at!! That's really when Stevie was just getting warmed up & ready to rock till daybreak. Clifford obviously didn't care if he blew the roof off the place!!😂) Do u remember Jonny Lang & Kenny Wayne Shepherd? At that time they were just kids (teens) running around town w/ their guitars just trying to sneak in somewhere to see SRV play & eventually get to play a song w/ him. Of course Jonny & Kenny Wayne later headlined themselves. But there was also a kid named Charlie White that I kept hearing about...supposed to be the major guitar whiz out of that aged bunch, but I never got to see him. Did u ever see him or have you heard of him? I can't find anything on him on YT.🤔 Those were the days!! (Onward Thru the Fog has now changed to Keep Austin Weird!! Let us not forgot Jimi Hendrix, the author and original "Voodoo Child." He was the first to create the sounds that until he made them the rest of the world didn't even know existed. Give props to the Master, the Black man who created this genre with his left hand! "Excuse me while I kiss the sky!" Purple Haze
@pattijosloss6302
@pattijosloss6302 12 күн бұрын
@scifisister159 I'm guessing you already knew this, but not many Jimi fans do. Many get his "VooDoo Chile" and "VooDoo Child (Slight Return)" titles confused (they are two different songs when you listen to them). "(Slight Return)" was influenced from the original "Voodoo Chile". The "(Slight Return)" version is the one SRV honored in this vid. Wiki expains it simplest: "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" was developed from "Voodoo Chile"(Except for the chorus, both have very different lyrics), which had been recorded May 2, 1968, during a studio jam with Steve Winwood and Jack Casady. The next day, Hendrix returned to the studio with Redding and Mitchell for the filming of a short ABC TV documentary. Noel Redding explained, "We learned that song in the studio during that filming." Both songs appeared on Hendrix's Electric Ladyland album.
