The Beatles have a new song released. It technically is a cover of an older song back in 1962 but it’s different in its own way. Either way this is a Beatles song that both Nick and Gabe have never heard before. Is it a good song?

You need to check out the 12 minute documentary on the Beatles KZfaq channel, which properly explains the history of this song and how it took nearly 30 years for it to be finished.

If he is dead you got to applaud them for finding someone who could write songs as good as McCartney and be one of the biggest acts in the world for another 50 years. And he should definitely get an Oscar for his performance in the Get Back movie. 😅

Im not sure if you had the video to match with this song.....very nostalgic.....showing the life of the Beatles during recordings and fun times for all four....it made the song more emotional...

You really have to listen to the song and watch the video produced by Peter Jackson (LoR) simultaneously, it really brings the song to life and makes you appreciate it much more, the song reached #1 in the UK which is quite an achievement considering the band spit up in 1970.

Pete Best was the original drummer - replaced by Ringo. Earlier they also had a guy called Stuart Sutcliffe who was on bass despite him not knowing how to play it. He left the band before they made it big and unfortunately he died soon after from a brain hemorrhage. This song though was a demo that John wrote back in '77. The demo was very hard to work on when the guys met up to do Free as a Brid & Real Love in '95 so they left it. Now though with AI - they were able to extract Johns vocal from the demo and finish the song. The fact it came out this good is a miracle if you ask me.

What's funny to me, is that when I watched the YT video last week, I didn't quite feel the song. I fought it a little; but listening to this here now, it's a little better than I first thought. Anyway thanks again Nick & Gabe, great stuff!

You need to do the video with this song, very nostalgic. Also watch the 12 minute video as told mainly by Paul on how this song came about. I don't recall James Taylor ever playing on any Beatles song. Keyboardist Billy Preston played played on most of the "Let It Be" Lp. On the "Abbey Road" Lp he played on George's "Something" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy). Peace ❤

Pete Best was the original drummer who was replaced by Ringo Starr, Stuart Sutcliffe won an art compaction that financed the buying of their instilments who sadly died after leaving the band to be an artist. The man referred to as the "fifth" beatle was their producer George Martin, and their manager Brian Epstein also passed away in 1967, Brian Epstein was the man who put them in suits and is often referred to as the father of the band.

Someone in the States - either a DJ or someone else started it as a rumor. And college kids, even highschool kids started losing their minds looking for clues. The guy who started the rumor actually spoke out and admitted that he was the one who started the rumor and thought it was funny that there were people who still believed it.

This song is not from 1962! Its from the late 70s originally with first attemps from 1995 and finished in 2022 with new drums, bass, piano, strings, guitar solo and backing vocals by Paul with Ringo

The guy who supposedly replaced Paul McCartney is Billy Shears, a made up character who is mentioned in the song "With a Little Help from My Friends". And in that song it's Ringo who plays the part of Billy Shears, not Paul.

You must watch the video for this song. Do emotional and nostalgic and thanks to AI surprising. This song was taken from a deo of John,'s in 1977 that was given to the three surviving Beatles by Oko in the 1990s. The 2 surviving Beatles decided to do the song this past year because AI was developed by peter Jackson to separate John 's voice from the piano..

HCTS is NOT from the White Album, which was recorded and released in ‘68. It was from Abbey Road, the final Beatles album first recorded in ‘69.

Sorry guys, but ya'll really need to do your homework beforehand. This song has a history which is explained in a 12 minute video by Peter Jackson. And the video always breaks me.

There was NEVER a time that The Beatles had SIX members that included ALL FOUR REAL BEATLES. From Quarrymen to Nuke Twins to Silver Beatles to The Beatles, nothing like THAT SIX MEMBER-Band ever happened. John had the Quarrymen that Paul and George joined, along with John’s mates. Then the “Threetles” with a much older drummer. Then the Threetles in Hamburg with Pete Best & John’s pre-Paul BFF, Stuart Sutcliffe the artist. Then it was The Threetles with just Pete. Then Pete got sacked and replaced by Ringo. That was it till the end: just JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE & RINGO.

I appreciate #33 attempt at research but your're all mixed up. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is from "The White Album" not "Here Comes The Sun". HCTS is from "Abbey Road" and I am not aware of any conspiracy around that song. I think you're confusing that with the album cover. The four Beatles walking across Abbey Road, John in white, the preacher. Ringo in black, the pallbearer, Paul barefoot and out of step with the others, the dead man and George in jeans and denim shirt, the grave digger. At this point I think The Beatles were sick of tha Paul is dead BS so let's have some fun with it. There's a VW Beetle on the cover and fans pointed out that the license plate said 26 IF, like Paul would have been 26 if he lived to do this album. Great theory except that Paul was 27 in 1969, not 26. These Lp cover Paul is dead clues started on The "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" cover in 1967 and then later in 67 on "The Magical Mystery Tour Cover". The Beatles denied all of these clues but I do feel that they said let's have some fun with this. They had a great sense of humor. Peace ❤

It's not a Beatles song. It's a rough, unfinished solo demo by John Lennon that had nothing to do with any of the others. Then, after Lennon died, the others added some spare parts to the demo and then ditched it because they couldn't get the vocal clear enough. Then, in the last few years, with better technology, the vocal was cleaned up properly and the two surviving members plus other musicians added still more spare parts to it and, with all the proper and necessary authorisation, they released it as the Beatles.

The Beatles decide whats a Beatles song and what not. Ballad Of John And Yoko could easily be a John solo song but Paul met John and finished it with him. Here Paul finished it.

@@ricardo_miguel13 That's completely different. All four Beatles were still alive, the band still existed, and all four were quite happy for the song to be released as by the Beatles. In this case John and George had both passed away many years prior. No one knows what they would have said if they could have a say. Would John have been OK for this to be released as a Beatles single? Nobody knows. Maybe yes, maybe not. He was known for radical changes of mind. And George? His last opinion of the song was negative. Maybe he would've changed his mind, maybe not. Sure, their estates gave the okay for this release. But the estates are not the Beatles.

@@TheRetroManRandySavage When the Beatles existed, their rule was that all four members had to agree on every record release. In this case, only two agreed. The composer of the song issued one more album before his death and didn't use the song. The lead guitarist did work on the song for a while, and called it "******* rubbish". So you ask whether it is a Beatles song? LEGALLY it is a Beatles song, yes, if that's all that's important to you.
