Oh, and they have their own company now. They are the best example of those from zero to hero in the most organic way.

gotta check out their albums , these guys sing LIVE BRO...they do not lip synced. VOCALS are fire!!! their live vocals are even better than recordings, no joke. i went to their NYC concert and I'm blown away. None of that loud backing tracks!!!! their voice pretty stable with choreography!! what sets them apart is they are NO IDOLS- they are legit artists! ... start with LIVE recording on wish bus, you'll see the real deal and compare it to their digital recordings!! 5 rappers, 5 main VOCAList, 5 dancers and 5/composers. They own their company! creative process and directing with their MV and songs are done with 5 of them collaborating/with Justin(one of their member as the Creative Director). Moonlight has a mainstream touch, but GENTO/CRIMZone and their ballads will knock you off your feet!!

SB19 are not the typical boy group. they are producers, song writers, they do as well being a creative director and choreographer. their discography are wide, having rnb, EDM, ballads, pop. on this song they collaborated with 2 DJs Ian Asher and Terry Xhong, and other talented people. they dont box themselves on a certain genre, i prefer call them artist and not idols. 4 of them also have solos

The group can each sing, dance rap, write their songs, direct their own music videos and the five members can stand alone as an artist.. check their songs..vocally gifted.. they sing live and they have different voice timber. Harmonize beautifully

SB 19 members --- Pablo - the leader, creator of ALL of their older songs, rapper; Justin - creative director and made most of the previous MV and video/visuals/layouts; Stell - dance choreographer of their first several music/MV; Ken/Felip - another dance choreographer with Stell; Josh- rapper, oldest in the group; both Pablo and Josh - front lines in answering during interviews especially for English venues; members were honest and frank about their ENGLISH language shortcomings.) They have very humble beginnings and they said these in many of their personal interviews. Josh was VERY POOR, many times DID NOT eat meals and frequently walked several miles from residence to dance practice, with dilapidated shoes- all because of POVERTY). Pablo also missed meals during their very long (about THREE years) of training under ShowBT company. The group ALMOST disbanded because of frustrations, personal /financial/ emotional /family issues, but came back together to fulfill their dream of becoming performers/dancers - they OVERCAME all their hardships, BASHERS, and the NEGATIVES; and NOW are very famous - even got into TOP of BILLBOARD and won MANY awards. In this Moonlight MV, Terry Zhong and Ian Asher are among the music producers, and Terry Zhong is one of the writers. SB19 handled all the vocals and the dance crew in this video called Iskouts was choreographed by Jay Roncesvalles. In the MV Ian and Terry were shown on the tv insert. Both men are also DJ's. This song is indeed a BOP! A timely addition for that cool summer fun. It is a fun pillow-talk song, sensual lyrics but portrayed in a funky, quirky manner in the choreo, very clean and refreshing feel, nothing vulgar, just cool clean fun, like a brimming feel of inhibition ready to set loose given the chance once the moon comes out at night. Tyoically, SB19 songs are mostly composed by its leader Pablo, but this time it is a good collab, so it highlights another pathway to reach more audience. I would suggest try the song GENTO, but start with the MV, turn on cc to run translation. With most SB19 songs, it may be in all english, or all in Filipino or both since those are the official languages of the Philippines. Pablo is noted for his lyrical talents and deep messages conveyed in their songs, so be ready for a wide use of wordplay in the lyrics. Then proceed to live performances like in Wishbus so you can focus on their vocal prowess, then continue on to any of their live on-stage performances/concert footages so you can see their overall choreo if there is one, and their showmanship. The song Gento is the last song, before this, and it is trending all over the world, until now, because of its dance. They were formed in 2018, trained in the Philippines by Korean company.

Bro you're in for a whirlwind! SB19 does all genres haha. All 5 of them can pretty much rap, sing, and dance. They are also self managed so they write and choreograph mostly all of their songs. They've been around for 5 years and super underrated. Probably overshadowed by the big industry that is K-pop.
