Vanessa at the opening ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games is absolutely mind blowing. She was only 19 at the time. Her range and control are phenomenal.❤

Her performance of her mega hit Heroes at the opening of the 2000 Sydney Olympics remains one of my favourites. She was just 19 from memory and blew everyone away.

Such an amazing performance given, her age, the pressure of the occasion and the rediculously difficult song. Very few could sing that song. Not just the high notes, many can do that, I'm thinking of the extended runs and notes that require super human lung capacity. 🥰

I’m an Aussie so I’m bias but what I love about Australian musicians is that they can actually sing. There’s very little manufactured music that comes from here, most of our performers have to be able to perform live or they just don’t make it here. Hence why you’re always told to watch live versions of Aussie music. ❤

Love how people are impressed with her voice and when she is just getting warmed up. She goes much higher and harder than that. She has lived in the US for the last 13 years and has concentrated on soul and blues. Simply amazing.

Vanessa Amorosi is the best vocalist in the world. It's a crime she hasn't had a bigger domestic and international career. She blows everyone else away. You should react to one of the live versions of Perfect. OMG!
