Was wondering if you could answer a ?for us we applied for a usda in 2022,we were accepted and went in the que,should our interest rate be fixed at the time we were accepted As they wrote it for the 2023 interest rate, Thanks any help would be appreciated

That is not an encouraged practice. I would advise you review the agency agreement that you signed with your current agent to see if it is exclusive.

If only one spouse works does usda look at both credit reports or just the working spouses credit?

@@laurenberg4820they’ll look at the credit reports of those who want to be on the house loan payment. You need to get prequalified so go check first and they’ll run a credit check. NOTE: the home buying credit score check is different than credit cards and other places so yes get prequalified first.
