So, the judge in the courtroom scene was voiced by Lynne Thigpen. She played “The Chief” on 2 PBS shows I used to watch every day, _Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?_ (1991-1995) and _Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?_ (1996-1998). She *also* played a judge in the Adam Sandler film _Anger Management_ , which released less than 1 months after her death in 2003, and at the time of her desk, she also had a role on a CBS crime drama called _The District_ , and that show did a great tribute episode for her. She was also famous for having many Broadway play roles. R.I.P. to a brilliant and legendary actress. *😢💔*

As someone who was born and raised in Texas, this was one of my favorite shows growing up despite it being slower paced and kinda boring. Definitely appreciate this type of humor tho, especially as an adult. Makes you realize they just don't make cartoons like they used to. (Pepper Anne, Home Movies, Daria) all legendary. I remember being very border of King of the Hill when I was a kid. But after seeing it more as an adult, I think it's really funny. I think it's one of those things that's just tougher for a kid to get the humor in.

I grew up watching this show and Married with Children... Nice to see new generations watching them too they're great shows! If you want other funny old shows check out Invader Zim and Rocko's modern life or Fraiser and Seinfeld for Sitcoms.

The way Mike Judge created the voice for Boomhauer (blonde guy who always says dang 'ole) was a funny story about a Texas guy who left a ranting voicemail for him and sounded that way lol. It's funny because when you watch the show enough, you can start to understand him easily.
