I really enjoyed watching a different type of rowing, it was very cool to see how quick you have to be to get into the boat how to control it in the choppy waters.

What about coastal rowing endurance format? That's a 4-6km course around buoys in open water. It's the rowing version of cross country running. It's not an Olympic event yet but very interesting and good viewing from drones.

Yeah I’ve seen that aswell! Might give it a go at some point! Not so keen on the longer distances!!

Looking at it, it looks a lot more appealing then the plain boring 2K in a straight line on flat water. Given its versatility, this might be more appealing to the general TV audience.

How much time per week do you usually steady state? I typically do around 7 hours but my cardio is lacking a bit so I was wondering if I need to bump this up

It’s a completely depends questions for each individual. And also depends what you mean by steady state. If you mean low intensity, depending on my aims and time I would do anything from none to 20 hours a week
