What's really amazing about Citizen Soldier, the lead singer is a licensed therapist. So, some of the songs are personal experiences, but a lot are from working with his patients. It really puts the songs in a whole other light knowing they come from someone's truth put into a song.

I was in a mental health ward for 4 months last year for a lot of what their messages mean , I still got monsters and spiders in my head on a daily basis but this group I never had heard of but their messages got me thru the shit in my head, they are awesome, im diagnosed with cptsd complex post traumatic stress syndrome , I want to die on some days but im hanging on, citizen soldier gets me thru days at times. Im now not surprised that the lead singer is a Councillor, coz its real, I have 7 legged spiders and monsters all meeting in my nightmares and having a party , my fingertips and a daily dose of presley, citizen soldier and vibe reactor Ray as my tools to survive. Love and best wishes to all that suffer cos its fucked up xx

I've never heard of this guy and his band before either, but his vocals are fire by fire. The message is dark, real, timelessly relevant and all to commonly unseen until it's too late. And as is expected from you Ray, your reaction is spot on. We tend to forget that we're the masters of our own earthly destiny, especially when troubles weigh us down and hope seems out of reach. Nothing is worth giving up despite the fact we can see no other way out. There is always a different choice. And if just one person is able to reach out and pull someone from the brink, then there is hope for everyone if everyone else looks up and realizes. The world today is filled with cancel culture. Let's use that cancel culture to cancel the rate of suicide, hopelessness hate injustice and despair. I was lucky when I had a stranger remind me that no problem is unsolvable if you have a hand to hang on to.

Citizen Soldier is a rock band with the purpose of spreading mental health awareness through the lead singer's own personal experiences, and through surveys of different societies. They are the greatest band you will ever get to know about, they have saved thousands of lives, including mine (with this song and their very first song, "Let It Burn"). Jake Segura, the lead singer, and pianist, has the most beautiful and unique voice ever. He can be somber and empowering, and also positively powerful through growling, screaming and grit. They are the ultimate musicians to ever come into the music industry and spread their honest light and truth, and reignite the flames that music in this era had been blowing out for so long with their meaningless and boring concepts. Citizen Soldier is my eternal hero and idol to this day, I discovered them back in July of 2020, and this song, "Would Anyone Care", introduced me to the band. I will always be by their side and defending them. I have been through depression and suicidal thoughts before, but I have miraculously broken myself out of that cycle, without any ease and with so much effort. This band transcended my life and now I am a much better person than I was in the past. I am more confident and love myself more! Please get to know them, journey through all of their songs. They have around 80 songs out right now!

I would say that a sibling to this song is one called "Reason to Live". Both these songs give me similar feelings and I love them both. But in general, I recommend any and every song from Citizen Soldier. Been following them for almost 6 years now and they are very talented.

I really needed to hear what you had to say about God creating all of us for a purpose and doing what you need to in order to change the situation. Jake is the closest to Chester i think id ever be comfortable with but my goodness am i ever thankful that he is as close as he is and just as thankful for all that he's not!
