Elvis Presley was in a league of his own, in fact he was and still is "the league." No one has come close in any way shape or form musically and personality wise. I don't think that anyone ever will at least not in our lifetime. Not just his voice, but his good looks, generosity, sense of humour and humanity❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I get everything you've said about Elvis. I'm going to tell you a little story. I was raised on Elvis. Mom and grandma were huge fans. 21 years ago I was 17. I met my husband. He is 22. We get together. One day my mom and me are trying to get him to watch an Elvis movie. He said and I'll never forget it, black people don't listen to Elvis he was racist. That broke mine and my momma's heart. Now rewind 21 years later. That same man has his own Elvis playlist and even watches the movies. Our son was named after Tupac. Our daughters one named after the West coast and East coast and one named after Eminem's daughters. But we both sang Elvis to them for lullabies and Elvis music still plays in our house. We each have a favorite song, performance, and movie. It is so sad that many people think like they do of Elvis. I mean where would music be without Elvis? Thanks for reading this and thanks for amazing reactions. A big thanks for keeping Elvis alive.

This is one of my favorites, this song shows how powerful his voice is without all of the moves ( don't get me wrong, this chick loves the moves). But this song is so pure. I'm like you Ray, I don't understand all the hate this beautiful man got. Did he have his own demons he fought, absolutely. But show me someone that had to drive himself so much, to please his fans, to keep his low life manager happy and to take care of all the people that depended on him for a living. And to have the physical problems he had, that doesn't have a vice they depend on. I don't think we can come up with someone. This man had a voice kissed by God, the stage presence was beyond amazing, and a heart bigger than anyone I have ever known. He was above the caliber of most people. I have loved seeing you fall in love with this man and his talent. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You are a very special person. And I love you for not only your love for Elvis, but for the beautiful person you are. Congratulations on 60k 🎉❤

@@barbaramarkland7441 Actually, Priscilla did not save Graceland. I did lots of research on this. She wasn't even the CEO or anything. She was just the spokesperson of Graceland which she got paid 900K a year for. Jack Soden is the CEO of Graceland and it is him that did ALL of the work to turn Graceland around. Back story: Back in circa 1980 Priscilla was at some fancy dinner shindig with all these big to do types. She happened to be seated at the same table as Jack Soden who, at the time, was a Kanas City stockbroker. Well Priscilla was pretty much telling him her tale of woe, saying that Graceland was costing her too much money to maintain and keep up. Now: This is not entirely true. Elvis's relatives, from both Memphis and Tupelo, Mississippi were the ones who were doing all the maintenance work on Graceland, from mowing the lawn to taking care of the horses to washing the windows to dusting, mopping, vacuuming. Elvis's extended family members did all of this work for free, by the way. It's funny how Priscilla never mentions this part or gave any of Elvis's family members credit for chipping in and helping out. Did they ever complain about this? Nope. Which goes to show really the kind of family Elvis came from. He may have come from a poor family, but he came from a stand up family, I'll tell you that much. Now what WAS costing Priscilla money was the property taxes. She mentioned one time during one early interview that Graceland's "upkeep" was costing her 500K a year. That price tag most likely was close to the property taxes of Elvis"s Graceland estate. Graceland is huge. Big place. Big property. Property taxes only go up never down. So Priscilla was talking to Jack Soden at this fancy dinner (black tie event by the way and cost per plate was not cheap) and Jack Soden actually became interested in her plight. He wasn't interested at all in her. But Jack Soden was a problem solver and he loved a challenge. This sounded to him like a challenge he might be interested in. Besides, as he later explained, it was more than just Graceland, it was at that time still a home to some of Elvis's still living family members and also one little girl's lasting ties to her father. So Jack Soden cut a deal with Priscilla and quit his job as a Kansas City stockbroker and got to work. He was the one who did all the research and he was the one who came up with the idea of turning Graceland into a museum & tourist attraction & he was the one who contacted museum curators, museum financial advisors, state and city tax officials. I mean Jack Soden did it all and he did it with absolutely ZERO help from Priscilla. He got the job done and I will say he is now CEO of Graceland. Priscilla actually held up her end of the bargain so I will give her credit there. As for Elvis's relatives? Well they were not offered any jobs at Graceland during its transition. There is so much more to the story of how Graceland got to be Graceland. So much more and Priscilla did not really have much to do with that. I would invite you to do your research. Also: Priscilla was no loving mother to Lisa Marie. As soon as Elvis died, Priscilla dumped her off at some boarding school. Then when Lisa Marie was 14 Priscilla dumped her off at some Scientology Center and Lisa Marie talks about that whole experience in an interview. Too Priscilla knew how Elvis felt about Scientology. When that organization tried to recruit Elvis to join their fold, he politely agreed to meet with them and then after hearing them out, politely turned them down. Elvis said later to friends, "All they're after is my money." Priscilla is close with her son Navarone Garibaldi. When he had a drug problem and came to her for help, Priscilla moved him into her house and stuck by him. She did not do the same for Lisa Marie. That says a lot. Priscilla should make arrangements with her son. The child she has always been closest to. She was never really close to Lisa Marie. There is a reason why Lisa Marie did not include her mother in her will. That says a lot too. If Priscilla had saved Graceland I would have given her credit there. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. As I've said, I did lots of research into the legalities concerning Graceland and Tom Parker. And no Priscilla is not the one who took Tom Parker to court. That's completely false. Lisa Marie's lawyer, Blanchard E. Tual, is the one who took Tom Parker to court. You can do your own research into that whole thing. Really interesting. Peace ✌ & blessings 🙏 to you & yours 💕

Haters will hate, a few will change, but Elvis will always be. The greatest for many, a legend, a gift to music he most certanly was. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin said Elvis was a transformer, in that when he walked on stage he transformed to this incredible singer and performer, becoming one with the music, the musicians, the backup singers and the audience, making him reach hights beyond human capability really. For me he is forever greatness and i`ll never stop feeling that way.

Even when Elvis was a kiddo, it always seems to me that Elvis felt every sound and beat of the music and it just automatically is expressed through his body. Let alone directing the band/orchestra with his body. It's phenomenal, and I've never seen another artist have that, it's just in Elvis's soul.

You're so right about the haters & lack of research. The term "willful ignorance" springs to mind. They deliberately ignore the good things they hear & they have no interest in learning about the kind of person Elvis was because they WANT to hate him & think the worst. They choose to remain ignorant about him. They enjoy the hating & arguing about something they don't know anything about. I can't understand why people are that way about anything but it's especially galling when it's about this man. There's an absolute mountain of evidence about ALL the wonderful aspects of his nature & personality...from his actions & most importantly, from everyone who ever knew him personally. Like all of us he had some flaws & issues. And his behavior was sometimes erratic during the last couple of years of his life. But there are few people on this earth who could've done any better or coped any better. Thank you for sticking up for Elvis. I have a feeling he would've loved you. He'd have been giving you one of those TCB necklaces within the first week of your friendship. 💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙💫💙

Yes a vocal genius, and stage presence and power no one else has ever possessed to this point. I'm sorry but he blows every other performer right out of the water. Many were great but Elvis was top of the food chain. Many people are threatened by anything different or prove to be, and accomplish what they never could. His fans called him " King" he never uttered those words about himself so people need to let it go about who was best etc... The man was in a class by himself in many ways Vicki

I think most people don't talk about Elvis not because they're haters but because they don't know anything about him. How can you talk about Elvis being a good performer if you've never seen him perform? A lot of people just aren't into older music and aren't willing to open themselves up to something new, so they'll never know what they're missing out on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Elvis has always sung with passion, he did shows when he was sick, and never said a word about. Imagine, in Vegas he did a show at 10;00 and another at 1:00 am. It was every single day, no day off for 5 weeks straight. He was energetic in every performance. He never wanted to let his fans down. No one has ever loved his fans like Elvis. Don't be surprised that they never mention Elvis, to many jealous men. Love you Ray.

Ray, I know what you mean about Elvis' musicality. Before the sound of each instrument reaches the audience, they are filtered through Elvis' body first, and his body responds with his vibrating energy.🔥

A VERY HARD SONG FOR ME TO LISTEN TO because of what it represents. For me I played this song when my grandmother passed and whenever I hear it I think of her. Elvis has a song for every emotion.

Ray. Just absolutely love this reaction. Everything you say is so true. My mum is very poorly in hospital in the United Kingdom and she is a massive Elvis fan. She is 81 I showed her one of your reactions the other day and it made her smile. So thank you sir , for everything you do for the Elvis community we love ya .

Wow the work you do to keep Elvis name alive is awesome! People hated on Elvis because he was and is sitting on the throne, that's in many People's nature, when you are best at something People just can't take it

60K…… no surprise R’Elvis! You are very perceptive, Elvis and his band are so synchronised. Elvis was always energised by his audience and his music was a part of his soul. He always performed to each audience as if it was his first ,when actually it may have been his 2nd or 3rd in a day!! 👌💕🕺

Bless him. What you do to help Elvis memory stay alive means more to us than any words can express Ray.. it's true...of course we could see how amazing and wonderful he was and he will always stay that way to us. Not many others have come to love him like you have and the happiness it brings to us is enormous!!! Thank you for having an open mind and all the research you have done on this man. It means so much and that is also a huge reason why so many fans respect you and want you to continue to have success. Thank you Ray for being so great and kind and honest and fun . Talk as much as you want .....laugh as much as you want....tell us your amazing " Stories" as much as you want ...we love it and appreciate you and are very grateful you let us into your life. You help every one of us every day too by just being yourself ...and THAT is a fact. 🤗💐💕⚡

I was so happy to see so many younger people at Graceland. I'm a 61 year old woman that still thinks she is young. Lol no matter how we feel about the movie, if it was factual or important people was left out. It brought Elvis to a new generation, to learn to love and admire Elvis.

@@candiehamilton9943 Thank you Miss Candie! I like the movie. I think Austin Butler did one heck of a job. And he is very humble and very gracious as well. Not only is he talented but he's also likeable. As for the movie's inaccuracies, well, ya know, it's a movie. It's not a documentary. I never expected it to be 100% accurate. The best thing about the movie: It's introducing Elvis to a new potential fan base of people all over the world. I go on Elvis YT'er's live streams and do you know for the past few weeks there has been a new person to join in from some corner of the world? India, South Korea, Brazil, Portugal, France... And they're all young people (early 20's) and they all found their way there in the first place because of the movie. So I cannot hate. Lisa Marie said of the movie that it gave her father his dignity back and she loved it. She loved Austin. So because of that, I will not hate. Of all the people in the world, it was her opinion that mattered the most about the movie. I could not agree with you more, Miss Candie 💯🌹💜👍

Yes Ray I fell in love with Elvis when I was 6. I saw Aloha live on tv one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen in my life just the anticipation and the hearing the 2001 Space Odyssey start playing omg! And all of the sudden here he comes running out on stage I’ll never forget that moment I was 8 years old and yes sir I learned about boys that year 🤣🤣. He was my first boyfriend and love do you know what it feels like when your first love dies? It broke my heart and soul even now 57 years later as write this tears still come to my eyes. Maybe one day I won’t cry when I think about 8/16/77 and playing my Moody Blue álbum but not this year Ray it won’t be this year. TCB⚡️
