JK worked so hard to get this album out in time and worked so hard on his english too. Thank you for appreciating his talent. BTS has certainly reached legend status and every member has contributed to this. He truly left his comfort zone to do an all english album so the rest of the world could enjoy it but haters will still be haters.

Jungkook is a master of communicating emotions, he has honed his craft for more than 10 years being the main vocalist of BTS. He may look, and be, still young but he has more experience than most any other current artist. He worked so hard to make his English sound correct. He has been trying to learn English as well, so that he can do better in interviews, but now he is in the Korean army till june 2025.

His ability to sing in English is amazing. He’s not fluent in English, only RM is from the group but they are also very careful when being interviewed so that nothing said can be misinterpreted. He has perfect pitch. His covers of other artists ruin the originals for me, he’s that good. BTS are an incredible group of multitalented people! 💜

Love your reaction and totally agree....I was/am SO impressed with Jungkook's English pronunciation and this is something he didn't get nearly enough credit for. For Standing Next To You, he learned it in ONE NIGHT!! How many singers can do something like that? I seriously don't know if there are any others. Jk is really good at mimicking and is a super fast learner. Not to mention, he sang in a language not native to him while he also danced to difficult choreography. I think you would really enjoy Jungkook's Time Square concert. Also btw, he was selected to perform at the World Cup last year, in case you didn't know....there are a couple videos for that as well. I love all the members of BTS and they are all super talented, but Jungkook is the one who first peaked my interest, my eyes would always find him first and it's the same now, 7 years later 👍

I have never liked the entire album of any artists, there are some songs that I may just skip.. But "GOLDEN" is a no-skip album for me! I love every single song in this album.. He is such a versatile artist 💜

Do you know what’s even more incredible? He effectively recorded the vocals to “Golden” in little more than a week. One song each day. “Standing Next to You” was his hardest song little over 4 hours. The others were 3 hours. JK’s solo discography (you’ll need subtitles): “My Time” - stage mix including dance break. You’ll love it. It’s RnB. “Euphoria” - live in Osaka. Even if the song isn’t the big musical number, the performance sure is. “Still With You” - live at Global Citizen’s Festival or a lyric video. Jazz ballad for ARMY written and produced by JK (PDogg also helped produce it). “Stay Alive” (produced by Suga). Beautiful song for their webtoon. Good stuff. Since you're a New York guy you can handle this. So, the end of the song made sense. Always leave them wanting more is what an album should accomplish. Aren't you excited for the next episode, yup. Jungkook is a true vocalist. When you study vocals, you can master any language since sounds are something you imagine and feel. Over the years he's done covers of English songs. Fans thought he was being "cute" but actually he was practicing the nuances of English. Conversational English isn't natural for him, but he has a comfort with singing in English. JK was confident the album would do well, but Seven blew up beyond his wildest dreams. Then 3D released and things got rocky since some fans objected to Jack Harlow's 2nd verse. By the time Standing Next To You arrived, elbows where being thrown. JK came West for his debut, US public fell in love, but those who prefer K-pop artist to be purist got more heated. Basically it became the debut version of "Mo music, Mo problems." Through it all, JK kept delivering stellar stage performances. When it was over, he was satisfied with his work, in spite of the detractors. He enlisted in the military, trusting his fans would keep the momentum going. They did, and so did the detractors. Messy. Still everyone, including me, where holloring AOTY and daring Grammy to deny him. But, Mrs. Carter had another plan, "Verizon, drop the music." Aw heck, Bey hit us with a Gatling gun, a 78 minute rapid fire masterpiece. I love Bey, but I think JK still has a chance, and I'm keeping that hope alive. Them be the breaks, but no matter what, I'm ride or die for JK, and along for the ride with Bey. Wait and see.

Jungkook is not under kpop. He's now under pop category technically. The only pop artist in bts. Other bts members are in kpop category but Jungkook is now under pop category

I can honestly say that in my 60 years of life, JK's album is the first album that I've ever loved every single track. Personally, that has never happened before in my life. He is so multi-talented. JK mentioned that once he started this album that he wanted to include more tracks, but ran out of time. I wish there was more tracks because this album is sooooo good. He worked so hard on his English. If you watch Suga's Suchwita where JK discussed his album, some of the songs were learned in English and recorded on the same day. I would recommend watching that episode. You'll gain even more respect for him and the hard work that he put in to make this album. RM, the leader of BTS, is the only one fluent in English. He learned while watching Friends. JK worked so hard on his English and is continuing to learn. Him and his other hyungs are studying English because they want to be fluent like RM. As I've said before on other pages, English is very hard when it's your second language, so we just need to be patient.

Yes, GOLDEN is such a masterpiece but the fact that he isn’t even fluent English just catapulted it to beyond a good or great or special album, it’s just beyond words. Nobody can touch it. There’s good albums out there but have those artists created absolutely amazing album in a whole other language that is foreign to them?! NOPE. He and this album deserves all the accolades 💯 Agree, BTS is so special because they really know, studied the genres, they studied their idols that influenced them, and they always make clear who they are and pay homage to them. They are the most respectful and deserve all the respect.
