Lots to tell about this band. One of my favorite tidbits is the drummer is sort of nicknamed, “Dynamo”, or, “Pocket nuke”, because she is super short but can speed drum with the best of them. And… she does it for a whole concert. Drummers gaining notoriety: Tamu Murata, Haruna, Nagisa, Junna, Akane Herose, and the list goes on. Japan is exploding with talent right now.

All Japanese bands sound great live! They are very talented musicians, and they are ready to show that in any time, anywhere! My way cross the way of Japanese bands about year ago, and right now they are almost all I listen. You could check a few other bands (especially female ones!). My suggestion would be continue with "Band Maid" and "Nemophilla" (they are wonderful bands and you gonna be surprised a number of times, yet!) but you could check "Lovebites" (MV's or live...whatever songs you pick randomly!), "Unlucky Morheus" (my personal favorite, and they are hard to define - you could check any MV's or live songs from them, but my favorite are "Angrifer" live, "Dignity of Spirit" live, Cadaver\Revadac (song where they play reverse from the half of the song!) and any version of "Black Pentagram"), or "Doll$Boxx" "Shout Out" or "Take my Chance" (live or MV), "Twin Loud Stars"...let's say! This last band is side-project for Fuki (beutiful singer from "Unlucky Morpheus") and girls from "Gacharic Spin". In fact, I'm almost sure that I forgot somebody from Japan (there are sooo maaany talented musicians), but somebody would correct me, for sure! Wish you good time!

Lovebites were formed in 2016 by Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums), both former members of Destrose. Miho wanted to start a classic Western-styled metal band (ie - New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, European Power Metal - think Iron Maiden, Slayer, Helloween, etc) so that's what she did. Hence the English lyrics as opposed to Japanese, their native tongue. So basically she assembled the best musicians around and Lovebites is the result. Not only are they brilliant in every respect, they are also very tiny. That's neither here nor there, just a useless factoid I thought I'd throw out there for conversation. Miyako (dark haired guitarist) is 5'2", although some people claim she's 5'3". Either way, she's the tall one. They're even better live. With Lovebites as much as love their music. I just have never been a huge Asami fan for her vocals not saying she is not a good singer.
