Never listened to kpop. Then "Shut Down" was the first song I heard from them and Ive been into them ever since. Jennie is my favorite... You gotta listen to the live version of "Shut Down" they did with the real violinist. It's crazy good!

@@shristi5b422VER ❤ I agree that Lisa is the face of the group, precisely because she symbolizes the DO, BL heterogeneity, but if it weren't for Lisa, it would be Rose... Then Jenny, Jisoo would be the last one for being the most Korean of all. Most people don't like kpop, they like black Pink because of Lisa, they say it has "something different" and it's different from her... Jenny has more fans in the middle of kpop.. But outside the bubble, Lisa and Rose have much more... It's very common to hear "ah, Black Pink, that group that has a girl with bangs who sings rap and dances a lot, right?"... Lisa is even used as a reference for anime and drawings. When the says that Lisa is the face of Black Pink, it's just that when you think of Black Pink OUTSIDE THE BUBBLE of kpop, you remember her.

Some people consider Jennie as the face of the group and some people consider Lisa. Often it is said that Jennie is the face of the group.

I've been a metalhead for over 50 years, and I mean 90%+ listening to metal. All of these songs are awesome, but for me, it's "Shut Down" which just could be in my top 50 all-time favorite songs.....for now. It can only go up.

Talking about how they always change their appearance and hair and stuff to spice things up, at the birth of KPOP, really Pre-KPOP, in the late 90's, the South Korean government tagged a Music Video as Adult because the female singer had dyed her hair blonde. They've come a long way since then, lol.
