Yeah!!! Been stuck in my head since 1975 !!

Alright, girls, KISS! As most KISS fans know, this was a reunion tour, that started in 1996. Then, came the never ending farewell tour(s). I was one of the lucky KISS fans to attend one of the reunion concerts in 1996, (which was my fist time seeing them in concert), at the now long gone Tiger Stadium, in Detroit, Michigan! There is video footage on KZfaq from that concert. I spotted myself a few times in the crowd, which was cool to see! KISS came on stage and it was magic. The crowd was so loud, my ears were ready to bleed. KISS put on such an amazing show that night, which lasted until 2 a.m. The next day, I had no voice, from yelling so loud and I lost my hearing for a day. It was well worth it! I have seen KISS 10 times over the years and their shows always blew me away! My brother was a huge KISS fan as a kid. He introduced their music to me and boom, instant KISS fan. I am not a huge fan like my brother, but I do enjoy their music and have their songs on my playlist! I would check out more KISS songs. I think you will enjoy them. I must say, my favorite is Detroit Rock City. KISS wrote the song as a thank you to all the local dj's, who played their songs, in the beginning of their career, while other dj's in other States would not. They started to become quite popular and later on, THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD, as would be announced before the band came out on stage. New York also opened up their arms to KISS, in the beginning of their career. One heck of a band! There will never be another quite like them. I was a teen in the 70s and 80s when they were at their peak. I played their first two live albums all the time. Check out Deuce, especially performed in the 70s era.

I was at that show! It was Halloween night, the Smashing Pumpkins opened for them, it was a great night. I had backstage passes and met Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller there. It was a night I will never forget.

Those are the Destroyer Costumes . They are from 1976 Destroyer Album and Tour and Rock an Roll Over Tour . I've been a Huge Kiss Fan since 1975 .

I saw Kiss in January 1977(my first concert)and God of Thunder was in their set list ,because Destroyer,the album it's on,was the current release at that time.Anyway,loved this video reaction and the new hair colors are cool.It's fun to try new styles.

Thank you for reacting to my all time fav band. I’ve been a kiss army member since age 9 back in 1977. And ever since my now 18 year old son was 6, he has wanted to and has met all four original kiss band members. And as he got to meet them, each member signed two limited edition Barry Levine lithographs. One litho is from their 1977 love gun mylar session and the other is the band pose found on the inside gatefold of their album Kiss alive II. They are both proudly displayed on his bedroom wall.

I was there on that show at Dodger Stadium that was on Halloween Night it was on October 31 1998 you should watch the entire show and it was the first 3D show too it was their first show on their psycho circus tour

KISS has so many awesome songs don’t just stop at one I was born and raised in KISS music my dads a huge fan has been to over 350 KISS concerts and we did the huge meet with Gene it was awesome

'God of thunder' was actually written by guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley back in 1976... In the studio, they were recording the 'Destroyer' album, and Paul Stanley told Gene, "Anybody can write a Gene Simmons song for Kiss." So, Gene challenged him to do just that... Paul Stanley came back to the studio and showed him 'God of thunder', and it fit Gene's personality perfectly...(I can almost see Gene grinding his teeth and going, "Dammit! I have to sing that! It's awesome!" 😂) I will say that Kiss shows are an incredible experience... their songs are a shot of rock energy like no other! This was the original Kiss on their 'Psycho Circus' tour in 1998... They did a farewell tour w/ the original band from 2000 - '01... then carried on w/ Tommy Thayer & Eric Singer replacing Ace Frehley (lead guitar) & Peter Criss (drums)

Yes! It's my favorite Kiss song! This is from the Destroyer album, which is the first album I ever bought with my own money. I bought it used at a garage sale for like 35 cents. LOL I still have that vinyl album and I still love the whole thing. Kiss is one of the most fun bands ever! The music is fun. The costumes and makeup are fun. The concerts are fun. First concert I ever went to...I was twelve lol. Destroyer Tour...blew me away. I've always said that even if you're not into em, it's worth the price of a ticket just for the spectacle that is their stage show. You can't help but be entertained. (And, for my second show, my mom dragged me n my brother by the ears to see Elvis. It wasn't long after, he passed away. I thank mom for makin us go)

I went to my first KISS Concert at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach on 9/21/2022. It was so awesome.

You ladies need to check out the video on KZfaq titled: “KISS Black Diamond 1975 promo”. In the 70’s KISS was the most outrageous band around, during an era with a lot of outrageous bands. Between 1974-1978 they were massive all over the world. A lot of male rock stars by the 70’s were wearing make up to some degree in stage. KISS went beyond that: their make-up made it so you couldn’t tell what they really looked like, and they never showed their real faces at all until they went on MTV in 1983 without the make-up at a press conference. You’ll find a ton of videos on KZfaq of KISS performing in the 1970’s, in concerts and on tv shows. “Strutted” and “Love Gun” are two other KISS songs and videos to check out.

I was at that concert back in 1998 at Dodger Stadium! The Smashing Pumpkins opened for them that night. Kiss played a very long show that night. They played for about two hours. Kiss currently host a cruise during Halloween. Last Halloween, I was on the Kiss Kruise that went from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas. Kiss played on Halloween night in full makeup and costumes, but didn't have any fireworks or flame throwers since they were playing in the Stardust theater that holds about 1000 people and is the main theater on the ship!

You guys should react to something from their first live album, KISS - Alive! Also: the hair is en fleek.

Great concert! I was actually there 12th row. And being that it was Halloween and traffic was a mess after the concert Kiss was caught in their limo in the traffic and decided to get out of their limo and make up and walk to the hotel. People just assumed it was a great costume.

Very theatrical band, and their leader Gene Simmons is known for being an extremely intelligent man. Crazy stuff - not my stuff, but I can appreciate the talent and showmanship!

Actually my very first Longplay was Kiss Alive II in 1977 (or was it 78?). Kiss was my favourite band before i got into Rush and later Babymetal. I even saw them live here in Germany, and the supporting band was an unknown (at that time) band called Iron Maiden (believe that was 1980 in Dortmund). NO one had such a stage show as they did back then, and I loved their music too of course. Greets from Germany and stay safe there!!!
