I (Adore) your newfound fondness of Prince. And, I want more. I couldn't find your reaction to "Little Red Corvette " or my personal favorite "Adore." I even went through your playlist. I highly recommend you create a "Prince " Playlist because he catalog is a rabbit hole you'll never come out of. Yup, we had a lot of fun in the 70s and 80s, the latter my teen years. We were all much happier, the music, across many spectrums, was wonderful. Changed right around 1990, took a much different direction.
