Hi Leah, answering your question I will say that Rosalia has so many influences in her music from trap to pop, flamenco, bachata, electronic, rap, reggeton and even "opera alike" songs like "Sakura" in her latest album Motomami. She also has collaborated with international artists such as The Weekend, Billie Ellis, Travis Scott or James Blake among others. If you are interested in listening her music, as a first approach, I would recommed you to listen iconic songs of her such as : Malamente, Bagdad or pienso en tu mira, or TKN or her Billion views hit called "Con Altura" feat J. The reason you've not heard of her b4 is simply bc you're in the UK. For some reason her music is not promoted here at all, even though she's had concerts and all here. It really annoys me as a fellow Brit, but it's probably bc she sings in Spanish. She is huge in Latinamerica and is well known in the States bc of colabs she's done with the likes of The Weekend (La Fama) and Billie Eilish. Her first passion is Flamenco as she's from Spain, but lately she's really gotten into the sounds of Latinamerican music like regaetton and bachata and has managed to merge some of her beloved Flamenco with many other genres. Most of her songs differ greatly from one another so anything you choose will sound completely different from this song. She's also incredible live. For a live performance watch her sing Me Quedo Contigo live from The Goya Awards (Spanish Oscars). Otherwise, try A Palé, Juro Que (the only song with English subs), Aunque es de Noche (from her 1st album) or Malamente from her 2nd album. Saoko papi… both are slang. Saoko is outstanding rhythm… papi is a term of endearment or “daddy” depending how it’s used… Rosalina used to sing different music and this was her coming out song saying she being wild in her music change. Hence also the bikes represent the wild side of the streets

It’s very good and often ignored by most, but if you want even MORE vocals you should check out Aunque Es De Noche !!! She is an insane vocalist, my favorite of this generation and she’s extremely creative and conceptual! All her 3 albums are extremely different and each are amazing. I recommend them all. MOTOMAMI is her newest one and EL MAL QUERER is a modern conceptual masterpiece. Rosalia will be big and one of the greats for SURE.

She is the first artist to have ever made a fusion of reggueton and cyberpunk. The song had moderate success but it doesn't take away the talent, production, hard work and creativity. Her hard work was recognized today by winning the album of the year at The Latin Grammy Awards! 🙌
