Tameka, Karina, Caspia, Indira, Perla, Mala, And ARIEL!!💙 (Btw I didn’t put the names in order from oldest to youngest bc I only know that Indira is the oldest and Ariel the youngest😭idk about the other sisters)

7 daughter 7 seas they changed their names to Mala, Indira, Caspia, Karina, Perla, and Tameka. They are representations of different ethnicities for the regions of the ocean they protect. (hence why the are all different looking)

It didn’t get lighter. The teaser trailer showed Ariel literally in an underwater cave. Idk why people think it would light and vibrant in a cave. The “under the sea” scenes look like it’s taking place on a coral reef like area which are close to the surface and thus get lots of light. This is a live action movie so there’s realistic lighting. I think people are just failing to understand the concept of “live action”.

I'm so very excited for this movie! I think Disney will finally get this adaptation right so fingers crossed🤞. I think Halle and Malissa are going to make a lot of kids and adults happy throughout this film. The reaction ultimately was great, provided emotion and pure interest for the film itself. On another note just taking my shot here I find the reactor very handsome and quite intune with his emotion which is something that stands out to me quite a bit 😊.

@@S1LKY You're absolutely right about that, I do think it'll have majority counterparts of the original film but with some modern flair and more musical numbers which is rather exciting to even think about. Halle is such a great singer. I think she is gonna shine in this role. And I also plan to be there on the opening day. It will be me, my boyfriend and two of my friends are gonna go see it together. My friends are just as excited as I am to see it.

it looks even weirder if they stick to the animated version of Sebastian (same for Flounder and Scuttle) so for me that's a good choice tho for making him a ghost crab cuz that's the whole point, after all he really is a crab!

This trailer was sooooo good!!! I love this film so much . I did think Sebastian looked strange at first, but I guess we will have to see more of it first. I think Melissa will be great in this role. With Halles singing ability, she will smash the songs! I don't understand the hate this film is getting. I just rewatched the original, and there were dark parts in there where it was supposed to be dark! I think some of the current complaining I've seen on other threads and places are just nitpicking and unnecessary complaints. Anyway I can't wait for this film, have a good feeling about it!.

Speaking of, I love so much mermaids/mermen universes since I'm a child and I'm making my own silicone merman tail based on the tail of the mermaid Syrena from Pirates Of The Caraibes 4 movie with my own vision and I will make also the tail of Ariel as well with my own vision too, I make those tails to swim with them for my pleasure and for future acting/modeling castings! 😀
