The music video concepts were inspired by classic movies and pop culture themes. Whitney in the white suit is an homage to Marlene Dietrich in Blonde Venus. Then the next is an homage to The Supremes. Finally, the all-black beatnik scene is an homage to the classic film Funny Face, starring Audrey Hepburn.
