Oui, je confirme, c'est avec cette chanson qu'elle s'est fait connaître en France en 1998. Elle venait du Québec et en ce qui me concerne c'est ma préférée.

j'étais au premier rang assis à son concert en France, elle était seulement à trois ou quatre mètre de moi pendant qu'elle interprétait cette chanson, j'ai cru que j'étais en train de fondre comme un glaçon.. j'étais dans un autre monde! (elle c'était planté dans les paroles elle avait chanté deux fois le même couplet mais je m'en foutais j'étais aux anges)

One of my favorites and I would say the BEST of Lara Fabian for this first album.😊☺🤩😍 I remember seeing her for the first time in a clip on M6 channel in the summer of 1997 (before it became a very big hit and she did several TV shows) and I was fascinated and captivated by this new female singer then unknown in France (except in Belgium and Quebec) which was beginning to emerge but also by this magnificent, very aesthetic videoclip. I remember buying the 2-track CD because I loved this song so much. This will also be the case for the other singles from the album titled "Pure" because they were mostly in "radio edit" or remixed as was the case for "Humana" in 1998 (which I recommend!) which is much better than the album version! I also like "Si Tu M'Aimes" (1998), a song from the previous album "Carpe Diem" released in 1994 but integrated into the latter. The same goes for the album “Nue” in 2001, I also liked the songs "J'Y Crois Encore", "Immortelle" for her come back to the new decade, especially her duet with Maurane. For me it was her best album of the 2000's.

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Lara Fabian. This song "Tout" (All/Everything) was released around the summer of 1997 as the first single from her third album "Pure", ranked no.4 in the TOP 50. As for her opus, it ranked no. 3 in the TOP ALBUMS, selling more than a million copies and certified diamond disc. The title evokes the end of a romantic relationship in a couple, whose romantic feelings were beautiful and strong but over time, the flame is no longer. Before leaving, the artist wants to explain to the former "loved" person who shared her life, that everything is over, that there is nothing more to hope for as she says in the text/lyrics, that it is impossible to continue like this, to suffer and destroy ourselves. She no longer wants to invest in a relationship that leads to nothing and, above all, that brings her nothing. Despite this, she continues to believe that one day the flame, the little spark will end up rekindling within her relationship. In this opus, I recommend the singles: Si Tu M'aimes, Humana in 1998 and La Différence (1999) in missing video clips. Please can you react to Kids United's songs ? it's a french kid group who sang some incredible songs, like ''les lacs du connemara'', ''on écrit sur les murs''... Their voces are really poweful and beautiful, they are not well know in other country but Im pretty sure f you go in french and ask who is kids united, everyone heard of them, I think it s really important to react to them. For the songs titles, you can try ''l'oiseau et l'enfant'', ''on écrit sur les murs'' or ''tout le bonheur du monde''. In fact, i thnk every song they sang is beautiful and they have beautiful voices
