Great memories from when I was 9 years old when I was in 3Rd Grade in elementary school. 😊🙃🥰😍🤩 I really love this song (not like you, ah ah ha, you're a sucker!), I remember it very well, we often heard it on the radio and also widely broadcast in CLIP on the ephemeral channel TV6 (ancestor of M6) which broadcast it very often but also during the TOP 50 ranking on Canal + (first encrypted channel created in November 1984) where I was able to see it almost every week. This title has become a CLASSIC and above all ICONIC (despite it being a "one hit wonder"), I often sang it at recess with friends from my class. It is still broadcast today on the radio waves especially Nostalgie or also on RFM which recently added it a few months ago in its daily PLAYLIST and STILL present on all 80's CD's compilations! What I didn't know when I was little is that the duo was part of a group 3 years earlier, the Tokow Boys. The female singer Rachel Ortas has been performing this song alone for several years on all 80's shows. For several years, she has been living in London and has become a graphic designer, illustrator and created characters for comics, children's books but also on postcards and badges.

A very good song with a great history : this is not their first tune but any worked. The boy of this band (they were lovers) asking himself if it's good or not to continue music : he was depress. Her girlfriend (the lead singer) tried to be positive and tried to transmit her good thinking, he was not receptive. Inspired she composed the song near alone, he was just on the studio making few things. This was their last chance for their producers: top 4 on top french 50. The name of the band is coming from a south french summer funfair. The album is very good (i still listening to it). They splitted few month later. A good memories and a very good tune ❤❤❤

This song is full of play on words (with the song title to start with) which only work in French. The sounds and melody are what they are and nothing special but I have always loved that song because of its lyrics, which are very fun to listen to but again, only interesting if you understand well the French language

Je pense que la chanson est typiquement française et incompréhensible pour un étranger. Musicalement, c'est typique des musiques de variétés françaises des années 80. Par contre, le tout est pas mal j'ai beaucoup aimé à l'époque. Je trouve tout de même que ça un peu vieilli.

I enjoy the song a lot as it brings back so many memories of that time. But its main (only?) interest are the very, very many plays on words that obviously only work in French. So recommending this type of songs to an English-speaking reaction channel feels totally pointless...

Unfortunately, this is not the best version of this song. Only at the end did it start getting interesting in this video soundtrack. Bad mix, as you said.
