I recommend ONE OK ROCK - Broken Heart of Gold.. Not heavy, more pop but for me it has dark lyrics, like depression.. And i really enjoyed your guys reaction, i hope i can see more ONE OK ROCK in this channel 😊

Thank you for discovering One Ok Rock. Their song Be The Light is a song about tragedies that have happened but they bring the light into it, like you said. It’s a music video from 11years ago and there is a version with Taka singing in English with subtitles. Very touching and emotional song. Thank you guys for your amazing reactions to this band. ❤

Fun fact, Yokohama stadium holds about 50,000 people. It was the first time they played in a stadium, and It was a two day fest. Another incredible song that shows off Taka's crowd control is Cry Out live at Nagisaen. You'll get to see one of the most epic crowds. At one time over a dozen circle pits form. If you want a sad song that hits you hard is Pierce live at Yokohama arena 2012. Taka is playing the piano with a string quartet

oh I’m glad you did this one! it’s not very popular amongst reactors but still so good xd yeah, they defo have a way of comanding the crowd. If you wanna see more of that, check out ‘Decision’ (what Taka does with 33k crowd at Saitama Superarena) Did you mean darker in topic? They have some darker/serious/sad topics, but yeah, the songs usually go in an optymistic directions. (and that’s one of the things I rly like about them) (but still, some break my heart) They do have some songs ab grief, like ‘Smiling down’, ‘Be the Light’, ‘Voices’(Taka with PTP band). ‘C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h.’ is positive, but with the context that it was writen for Taka’s 9 friends, and almost a decade later, performed in memory of one of them, Haruma Miura’s passing, it breaks my heart. They have songs about fighting the society, like ‘Renegades’, ‘One by One’, ‘Push Back’, ‘Stand out Fit in’, etc (out of the top of my head), but those are the type of ‘we’ll fight back’, and ‘don’t listen to the society just be who you are’. as Taka said when introducing ‘We Are’, they always had and still have this sentiment as a motto. They have some songs about Taka’s tumultuous relationship with his family, like ‘Nobody’s Home’ and ‘Hard to Love’ But they are all rather hopeful songs in the end. So in comparison something like ‘Broken Heart of Gold’ is pretty depressing for this band, but there is still a sliver of hope

they do have heavier stuff, I recommend ON "LIAR", "ENDING STORY", "JUVENILE", "LOST AND FOUND", "DEEPER DEEPER"

OOR's earlier albums have more heavy rock. You can check out "Liar" (live), an earlier song that's heavier. Generally they try to imbue their songs with more positivity, so nothing too dark.
