So Corey actually had a broken neck and didn't even know it. When this album released he actually toured after surgery and was wearing a neck brace. He is a legit mad man!! Also this music video was the trailer for "The Boys" tv show. It is also one of my all time favorite knot songs.

I would say that Corey is back and better than ever... the band has slightly evolved in their sound, but the roots are strong. Aggressive vocals mixed with melodic clean vocal cuts, the scratching and electronic sounds, machine gun drumming.... Slipknot will always be slipknot.... I will always cherish the self titled album with all the original members..... I actually find the newr slipknot to closely resemble Iowa.... what we are hearing is is cleaner technical work, less jumbled noise, better mixing, and hard as fkin ever... Slipknot is always a favorite. Maggot 4 life! Fk Yes!

This song came out a day before the album was released, which was also the day that I saw them for the first time(August 11, 2019) and they played Solway Firth for the first time live at that show(Tinley Park, IL) and it was amazing!!! I love this song and to hear such a heavy/passionate song at the front of the guardrail in the pit is an experience I’ll never forget. Also, The Boys is where the clips in the song are from and it’s an awesome show. Definitely recommend it💯🔥🔥🔥

You might know of Jay Weinberg's father Max, he was Conan O'Brien's bandleader on the Late Night show, he's also played for Bruce Springsteen for ages. Slipknot played Heretic Anthem on Conan when Jay was like 10 and he saw Joey and that's what inspired him. And now he's in Joey's seat which is goddamn wild.

New drummer Jay Weinberg also plays goalie for an intramural hockey team in middle Tennessee when not on tour. There was also a NIN concert earlier this year that he attended with KoRn’s drummer Ray Luzier as fans of NIN.

The drummer is jay Weinberg His father is Max Weinberg he was the drummer for Bruce Springsteen I believe and Jay is a badass on the drums I loved Joey and I love Jay's work in my eyes they are both Legends. The actors you see in the video, they're from a show by Amazon Studios. The show is "The Boys", few weeks ago Amazon dropped last episode from third season. Give it a try. About Corey's neck, he doesn't get his neck broken, it's too huge to break it hahaha. And the drummer, yes, is Jay Weinberg.

The show called The Boys on amzon. It's based on a graphic novel. The show is basically about what super heroes (think the league of justice) in the real world could look like if an outside group of people they have wronged (IE the relative of an innocent person they never show in the office building when Superman lets his laser eyes go) all got together and just decided to kill them.

THEY’RE DROPPING A NEW ALBUM!!!! You to HAVE TO check out one of the songs that was released. The Dying Song (Time To Sing). I think you should also check out Alien Weaponry - Kai Tangata (the music video preferably) and Raupatu. They’re a Māori rock band. Jay Weinburg is no joke, absolutely a monster on the drums. I think ever member has injured themselves from headbanging and other stage antics. Sid shattered both heels at the same time from jumping off stuff for fks sake. Band absolutely goes all out on stage! No other concert compares to Slipknot!

I've been listening to slipknot since I was 10 ish. I saw them for the first time live last September in Chicago and I have to say I was blown away by how amazing they sounded it was actually better than the album. The show was incredible the vocals the instruments were on point and it was the best show I've ever seen I've been to tons btw. Corey is the greatest metal vocalist of our time imo

I went to a show in 2016 and he was doing the entire show for chapter 5 in a neck brace he broke his neck years ago and basically admitted he grinded out years of max effort head banging before a doc finally figured it out and made him get surgery

During the .5 gray chapter era Corey actually was head banging with a broken neck, he ended up with a neck brace and changed his mask to be able to perform with the brace. Man’s had a broken neck but still performed

I am sooooooooo disappointed ..what a boring show. Don`t waste your time with Slipknot, they are the past. Go to Gojira, miss. They are the best active metal band in the world. "The boys" is what you wanna watch, it is one of the best shows written in recent years. And this song is about divorce.

When you mentioned about Corey's neck, there is actually a story that Corey broke his neck in a fall when they were touring behind their first album back in '99 and he didn't even know until a few years ago in which I believe is what led him to have emergency neck surgery when they toured behind their 5th album The Gray Chapter. Something he talked about in an interview. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact interview but yeah, that's the only known issue with his neck.

Fun Fact ! Corey has broken his neck but at the time even he didn’t know until he had emergency surgery. There was a point in time where he was performing with a neck brace though not recommended lol. Since then, Corey has said that he doesn’t head bang as much and says it’s improved his vocals 👍🏽😃
