As you have seen, Band-Maid is a group of five very talented ladies. Miku (with red rose) is the band founder and writes lyrics and Kanami (lead guitar) composes most of their songs. They cover ballad, pop, punk, hard rock, metal, and more. They are really versatile and have over 100 good songs and no bad one. Pick any video from their official channel, you can't go wrong! This was THE quietest song I've heard from them - they're able to nail anything they want to, as this shows. Most of their music is rather more on the hard rock side, but I love both.

Looks like you enjoyed your first exposure to the maids! This is very much at the softer end of their musical spectrum, if you fancy seeing what they're capable of in front of a live audience (and having huge fun while they're doing it) then Domination and Freedom are the usual starting points - Onset is a live instrumental which really shows off their techncial skills - and after that there's a big back catalogue of live stuff and MVs to explore. I doubt you'll find much you don't like!

this id thier ballad rock nila.... isa mahirap e composed ni kanami ng lead guitarist the outcome was so amazing....the live arrangement was amazing....miku is the founder the rhytym giutarist and the lyricst....actually they hard rock band.....the solo is off the chart ..they are good in vocal harmonizing....they were dynamically and progressively good

After Daydreaming may come the Black Hole. So it's so eclectic!

I am glad they have done this new live version. So much better, hairs on my arms were standing up. So much feel in the vocals and the instruments. An astounding group ! About Us is another you will like. Also live.

This is now the 4th (?) version of this song from BAND-MAID and ever one is just great. 1 - MV 2 - original live composition (Kaname on keyboard) 3 - Zepp Live version with long intro 4 - 2021 Live studio/stage version I can't find a recording of #2 but plenty of references some years ago from concert attendees.

Oh from this years online show. This is the first time we see Mikus own signature guitar "flappy pigeon", which is quite remarkable since she only had played for about 8 years. She started with a Rickenbacker which for the first years was more like a prop. Then she met Zemaitis who wanted her to try out theirs. So this became their tribute to her for being a good ambassador and working hard to become good. When she started the band, she was meant to do the lead vocals but discovered her voice lacked power, and in the sneakiest way hired Saiki. With 2 singers they decided one had to learn guitar and Miku volunteered. Her mentor is Kanami who she met on the Internet. She by chance knew Akane on drums and Misa on bass who form a formidable back-bone to the sound. Recommend checking out "freedom" Live 2020 to see why they're considered as one of the best Live bands around. Daydreaming is at my top 5, and I bet

You have discovered one of the best bands going Kris. Band Maid pours their heart and soul into everything they do and the results are consistently excellent! Daydreaming is one of their beautiful power ballads, Kanami's favorite from what I read. They recently released a two song live video, Manners and Black Hole, which showcase the band's diverse musical abilities. Enjoy!!

Many seem to initially pass them over thinking that they are a gimmick band because of the Maid costumes, and maybe that was a little bit true when thet first started out all those years ago. However, after three ot four songs, suddenly the costumes are forgotten or no longer the center of attention, because it dawns on you that you are listening to one of the best bands on the planet. 🙄🦊✌

You might try: Domination live - a good place to start, a little bit of everything Blooming MV - harder, almost metal, Saiki almost raps, nice figuring taps on solo Manners MV - kind of medium hard for them, very groovy, nice atmoshphere

I'm so annoyed I only just got notification of you but anyway keep going with BAND-MAID because they are a great band with a mixture of fast and slow songs. When Saiki the singer and Kaname the lead guitar team up to do acoustic versions it really is something special but the girls are primarily a rock band and have some great songs.
