UGH JIMINS VOICE IS EVERYTHING! That mans voice is a gem💎Like Jimin has the most unique vocal color and range. He has such a beautiful and quite distinct vocal timbre. His pretty vocals add a new layer of flavour to every song and he can pull off any type of style or genre. Jimin is one of the finest vocalists in the music industry. That man is just in insane vocalist. One of a kind. I could listen to him all day. His voice just heals me and gives me sm comfort. Like how can someone sing like that? They all sounded AMAZING. I luv Jimin’s voice. That mans “mmmm” in PTD is everything. My eyes literally started crying when Jimin started singing in the cover. They were all magnificent and for me V KILLED it! No wonder he was trending worldwide with his range. I so appreciate low range when everyone notices tenors and high notes. He sang adlibs both high and low, and his vocals stood out the most to me, bringing a whole different dimension to the song. Rap line SLAYED! RM’s voice, Suga’s flow, Hobi’s passion. They all murdered it!

I am sooo happy with Jin and his growth, he literally knew nothing about singing and look at him now! In the past he used to get the least parts in songs, ans now he's so much out there, whether it's more lines or when he's center during the choreo! I can't stop listening to this song. It's so good. Also I laughed when you said we probably didn't care about their outfits. Army cares about their freckles girl! 😂 I always watch their outfits. I even noticed in this performance, Jimin had some kind of scrape on his collar bone. 😂 Also I love his necklace, that's what got me looking in that direction then I noticed he had some kind of scrape or looked like it. It's bizarre to me how little people are mentioning Jin in any comments about this performances. He hit some of the highest notes in this performance, harmonized wonderfully, had amazing ad-libs that I've seen people contribute to other members, and had an incredibly stable voice. I guess that's what is to expect since he's not one of the maknaes though... And the only talk of him is 'his growth'. People act like he just learned how to sing. He has been singing amazingly their entire careers but really started showing his voice back during the Wings Era, years ago! Jin's solo Awake in the Wings concert was beyond impressive and don't get me started on Epiphany and songs since then, but still people act like 'his growth' is the only thing to praise about him. Not the fact that he has pretty much the widest range in the group (him and Taehyung are about equal), that he has the most critically acclaimed voice in the group, or that he sings so many high ad-libs that people contribute to other members or just ignore. It's a shame.

I know I'm a little late but that part where you thought Suga was singing was actually Tae. The rapline, with the exception of RM, were just subtly harmonizing with the vocalists but their mics weren't turned up enough to be able to hear their voices the way you could hear the vocalists and RM. Great reaction though! They 100% did this song justice.

This is such an iconic song and to attempt to "cover" it is a bit of a risk. These seven young gifted men (and their band) pulled it off almost effortlessly. They are surely a national treasure of South Korea. Their talents both separately and as a group seems to have no limits.
