Jimin and Jin sang the very high notes, both beautifully in their different styles and tones! Jimin really wowed me with how he interpreted his lines, adding so much flavor with little alterations and his personal touch !!!

Jin and Jimin with them super high harmonies and notes while Jungkook and Taehyung with their versatile vocals. The rap-line killed it too ❤️. Jin actually sang the super high harmonies with Jungkook in the chorus, it wasn’t a backing track. Jin can go really high with his vocals ( it’s not a new or surprising thing ) , Jin and Jimin can go extremely high. If you listen closely or have been an ARMY long enough, you’ll be able to tell that Jimin’s super high harmonies and Jin’s super high harmonies are different..

It was definitely Jin singing the high octave. you should check out his solo performances or other live perf like "Life Goes On" "Come Back Home (cover)" "Blue&Grey" "Answer:Love Myself" "Make it right" to see how Jin can sing high notes/falsetto effortlessly. Honestly, it's sad to see how some people still doubt Jin's amazing ability to hit high notes (when he's naturally known as a tenor) and make quick assumptions that they're using backing track. Sam, the Jungkook and Jin part was Jin on high and Jungkook the low, not a track. The Suga and J Hope Korean parts were added and written by them.

Jin can belt and hit high notes even when he is sitting, that man does not need any back track, he is the back track!

Jin was definitely doing the high line there. I know that Jimin is known for the highs but people have to stop sleeping on Jin. Jin's gorgeous falsettos are a key signature of Bangtan's sound and literally all over their discography. Watch Answer: Love Myself. Or check out Jin's solo Abyss. Jimin recently said Jin's register was so high for a song that it made it difficult for the rest of the vocal line (of course Jin argued back that Jimin's high register made it difficult for him) but the point is, they're both fully capable of (and incredibly good at) executing the higher range melodies or harmonies.

RM has a naturally very deep voice. One of the guys talked at one point that he often deliberately will raise his larynx when he speaks to make it sound brighter. So not sure he actually is trying to make it deeper. Jin was definitely doing the octave up. They all sounded amazing as always. 😊

There is something magical when Jin and Jk start to mix together. They all can bounce of each other´s voices, mixing and blending them really well but the two have a particular affinity for each other tones and just melt together like heaven.

At first i thought the same listening to the part with jungkook and jin singing at the same time but i lowered jungkook's voice on my computer and you can hear that jin was singing live and you can hear the difference from when jimin was singing it. I think the problem with this performance was the mixing, the boys did great though!

Not sure, but his mic is mixed different when he starts singing behind JHope's rapping and it's definitely obvious, but even more drawn back.🤔 Not sure if I'm making sense and I don't know much about singing or mixing but that's what it sounds like to my ears. Jin's voice can get stunningly high (and low) though, and I'm not sure why some people are continually surprised or forget. 🤔 I'm not personally offended like some here, but it's just unfortunate since he's worked so hard for years...even his first vocal coach mentioned last year that Jin is phenomenal now and he's the only student she'd ever had that didn't just improve, he transformed his vocals entirely.

Hi Sam! I recommend listening to Jin's solo song "Tonight". It's got a lot of head voice and falsetto parts, so you can pick up on his high tone a bit more easily. That was him on the upper harmony with JK at around 6+ mins. As you said, Jin is a bit of a chameleon. Most of the songs you've heard from him I think have high notes in the mix. You haven't had a chance to hear his head voice and falsetto much.. So it must have sounded like someone else rather than him. Alternatively, if you want to do an OT7 song and still catch Jin in the head voice/falsetto, I recommend "Make It Right". That one is distinct.

Jin was actually singing the higher with Jungkook the lower part. Jin did a great job of matching Jimin. Jin can actually sing at a very high range as well it is just that Jimin sings there most often and because of his tone most people associate him with singing the higher parts. Glad you are back. Also just one more note the audio on your video made watching this a little hard for me because when the video of BTS was playing it was much louder than when you were speaking so in order to hear you I had to put the sound up on my computer but then the song was too loud when it was playing so I had to constantly put it up and down...this might not have been as big a problem if I was not watching this at midnight in an old building and not wanting to bother people who are sleeping though :)

This song is so beautiful and the lads vocals were amazing on this song and what really made me feel emotional was Jimins high notes as I could really feel what he was singing. This song hold a really deep meaning to my family as this song reminds us especially my dad of his brother who committed suicide a long time ago and this song was played at his funeral so whenever I hear it I cry
