Welcome to this Byron Bay vlog, a charming surf town in New South Wales, perfect for your first surfing lesson, with pristine beaches, a warm climate and a special lighthouse walk, this Australian town was so special and chill!
Byron Bay is a tourist favourite in Australia and whilst I was apprehensive at first, I can completely understand why and I actually extended my stay there! I stayed at the famous Wake Up! hostel in Byron Bay right by the beach and it was perfect with free surf board rental and a shuttle service every hour into the town, I couldn't have stayed anywhere better, particularly if you are a budget or student traveller!
So what to do in Byron Bay...
- Byron Bay lighthouse walk including the most easterly point of mainland Australia! And so for me, the most easterly point of the world!! This is such a nice walk and takes around 60 minutes to walk, with views overlooking the sea and the entirety of Byron Bay it was so special.
- Shopping and food culture! I was so suprised to see what Byron Bay had to offer in terms of shopping and food. It was really nice although definitely catered towards more luxury travellers!
- SURFING LESSON - if you come to Byron Bay, this is ESSENTIAL! No surfing experience is required and the conditions are very friendly for those who cannot swim or are nervous about those big waves. I have never surfed before and I do not like deep water and so it was one of the best things I did in Australia. Although I wasn't very good! And I hope you enjoy that comedy sketch in the video!
SO...Byron Bay. Essential? Absolutely. See you there!

It only feels hotter in the UK because you have no air conditioning and there is more population and your houses are double insulated , which makes you feel hot . We had a hot summer this year in Sydney but we are now in late Autumn and it is starting to get a little bit cold . The outback is very hot and you will perish in the desert if you are not well equipped. I think when the British complain about our hot weather , it is because the sun rays are strong and you can feel it biting your skin . When were you in Byron Bay ? Was it in April ? Sometimes the cyclones in Queensland can cause the East Coast to have rain , especially in 2021 or 2022 and also due to Lal Lina . We had flooding . It has passed now and we had great weather . I really enjoy your vlogs .

You’re in the tropical parts of Australia during the wet season. You’re better off visiting some of these places in autumn or winter. To others from the northern hemisphere if you want to do a trek up the east coast of Australia stay in Melbourne in late summer (Feb) and then head up towards the top end via Sydney and surrounds so that you get north in the dry season.

Or alternatively, start in the far north in the southern Winter (June, July, August, this being the dry season in northern Australia or maybe into early Spring) and work your way south, down the east coast. This is so that the sun is behind you for the hottest part of the day as you drive, rather than shining in your face and on your arms, chest and lap if you were to drive towards the north. Remember, this is tropical Australia in the dry season where you will be starting. No clouds for protection.

It's been a strange summer this year, heatwaves in West Australia who havent seen rain for 6 months and above-average rain to the east. A volatile season of heat, storms, humidity, and flooding on east coast - one of its wettest El Niño summers on record.

Lordy a better way for beginners to get up on the board if you know yoga: Upward facing dog, downward facing dog, warrior 2 😊 congrats on catching a wave first time.

My mate in the UK, his parents said to my face that they'd never visit because of the deadly animals, which I did laugh at. However, I laugh uncontrollably when Americans say that.

Hi there, I hope you are well. I just saw the video, and I was watching it. Your video quality is really appreciated. I am so impressed by your content. I was analyzing your channel and noticed that you are struggling with video views and video ranking. Your channel has some issues. You have made many videos so far, but you are not getting as many views and subscribers as expected. But your content deserves more views and subscribers. Your channel has no complete SEO for any videos, no proper channel tags, no proper video tags, no end screens, no chapters added, and no SEO-friendly titles and descriptions. If you complete all tasks, then you will get more views and subscribers with monetization. I would be happy to assist you in fixing it. I hope you respond. Thank you.
