Those are some nice accessories on your kayak! Tell Chad, and this is for you too, go out on a hot summer day and remove all the fishing stuff you are afraid to lose. Then really see what the kayak can handle and when you'll fall in. Then, more importantly, learn how to right the kayak or at least compose yourself to swim it back to shore.

Hey a fellow Minnesotan. I wish I could private message instead of public. I am 5’9” and 347lbs I’m thinking the oldtown pdl 120 would be great but I’m a rather large guy. I was wondering how stable you found your kayak. I currently own a bluesky boatworks 360 angler but it’s not a real kayak in my opinion. Also have you thought about the boondocks landing gear? I live in southern Mn Near shakopee.

The 120 PDL is one of the most stable kayaks on the market. I’m a big dude as well (the channel isn’t called BEEF outdoors for nothing) and I have not once felt like I would fall out. I have stood up in mine many times and felt very stable.
