The best way to describe this is it's reverse isekai. Basically, the ones with powers came from a world that has magic and now needs to adapt to a magicless world.

This series is excellent, perfect for passing the time with its lighthearted story 😄

Hataraku Maou-sama! o The Devil is a Part Timer is an inverted Isekai, beings from a magical kingdom end up in our world and have to try to make a living like anyone else, that is the basic premise of this anime. The first season was broadcast in 2013 and the second was broadcast in 2022, almost ten years of waiting!!!! The first of the OPs corresponds to the first season and the other two to the two parts of the second. You should react to the OPs and EDs of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, it's from the same era and a very beloved anime!

You should definitely do outro endings reactions. I'd recommend March Comes in like a Lion openings and endings in all one go, they are very, beautiful music and symbolic meaning in the background and the art is wonderful.

I love The Devil is a Part Timer it's a great show. Granted I'm not fully caught up on the second season, I gotta get back to it to finish it soon lol. The first season originally aired in 2013, and we all very desperately wanted a second season that just wasn't coming. Until amazingly in 2022 we got that second season 😂 This is happening every so often with shows that came out a decade or more ago, the nature of anime before was generally to produce a season's worth of a show which would hopefully bring in readers to the source material. That's changed a lot in the last 10 ish years. It's much more common now to get multi season shows. So now some of these older shows are coming back with new seasons or even remakes like in the case of Spice and Wolf. If you noticed that there was a bit of a style change between the first opening vs second and third, that's why. Another studio, Studio 3Hz, made the returning season, and they went with character designs that were actually quite a bit closer to what the source material looks like. (I do love the style of the first season too though lol the first season was done by Studio White Fox).

The "part timer" part is in reference to his employment. While not totally accurate, without spoiling, you're kind of close on it. I would call this one a classic...we had to wait a decade for season 2.

This anime pretty amazingly good ❤ worth to watch it but too bad season 2 they change animation...I love season 1 character design....suitable animation for it's serious moments

I love this anime. It's great to just chill out with when you need a mood reorienter. 🩷💛💙 If you like depth with easily likable characters that categorically you normally shouldn't like, I suggest an other older anime Blue Exorcist. Bit darker than this show I feel, but still, entertaining.
