God, I miss the early 2000s. Movies were new instead of constant remakes, music was at its peak…. I know every generation ever has nostalgia, but I don’t understand the argument that the world is somehow better 20 years after this was made….

For this movie Chad Michael Murray didn't need to learn how to play football since he had played it in high school unlike One Tree Hill where the producers had to hire a coach in order to help him improve his basketball skills and when this movie came out, he was already doing One Tree Hill and the actor that plays Austin's dad is also the one that plays Peyton's adoptive dad in Season 3 of One Tree Hill.
