8:14 Fun little detail Shady Sands first appeared in Fallout (1997) as a simple Adobe settlement in the desert founded by residences of Vault 15 dwellers once the vault door opened 20 years after the Great War in 2097. Shady Sands would later be founded a few decades later in 2142 at least according to the sign we see in the show. By the events of Fallout (1997) in 2161 Shady Sands was a small thriving settlement under the leadership of Aradesh a Descended of the founder of Shady Sands. The player character known as The Vault Dweller can help out by saving his daughter Tandi from a group of raiders. In 2186 a good 30 years after Fallout (1997) Aradesh formed a trial council government to draft a constitution. He proposed this idea to major cities in the region giving birth to the people of New California. in 2189 the New California Republic was formed with Aradesh becoming the Republic's first president addressing a crowd in Shady Sands in front of the newly finished Hall of Congress. By the events of Fallout 2 (1998) in 2241 a good 80 years after the events of the first game the NCR was a major superpower with Tandi as acting president of the NCR now an old woman. The last appearance of the NCR would be Fallout New Vegas set in 2281 within the Mojave Wasteland around the Las Vegas featuring Nevada and a slice of California. I'll not mention much as you may actually want to play New Vegas compared to the original Fallouts from the 90s. But summed up the Republic has some interest in New Vegas as a city along with Hoover Dam. The NCR arrived in the area a few years before 2277 and kind of just stayed there by the events of New Vegas four years later. The events of New Vegas was only 15 years ago so us New Vegas fans were shocked to find out that Shady Sands was not only nuked but the NCR has a whole seems to have just disappeared from the region as of this episode. This region should be more civilized with the NCR having a standing military, own paper money with past presidents on the bill, cities that actually don't look like junk towns and working vehicles, closest thing we saw in the Fallout series to a pre war government. So yeah ALOT of history surrounding this single location that gave birth to one of the major superpowers in the wasteland.

I think Maximus is getting a bad rap. He saved Lucy's life on that bridge and gave her her gun back without even being asked to first. Sure, he's guilty of lying about being Knight Titus but I think he just doesn't know how to stop that lie without the brotherhood killing him. He thought Thaddeus was his friend and told him the truth and Thaddeus was not one bit relieved to see he was still alive. I don't like how he tried to survive that snafu but I think he panicked and let's face it... The Ghoul's done far worse. He was BRUTAL to Lucy and we're all hoping for him to change his ways. Why can't we have that mindset about Maximus? I'd be scared to trust somebody completely with the truth directly on the heels of how Thaddeus just reacted too. Maybe he's afraid she'll come across somebody from the Brotherhood and call him Maximus and get him killed? He's gonna have to come clean eventually tho or he could ruin any chance of forming what might have been a great friendship. I think the real reason he's getting a bad rap is because you assume he hurt his friend? I don't think he did. Here's why; when you're being beaten by your peers everyday and told you're worth more dead than alive because you can't do anything right by the adults you respect you would hunger for a friend or a kind word and interaction. Dane is the ONLY friend Maximus has in the entire world and that relationship would be precious to him. There's no way he'd hurt them. Not a chance. And where's the evidence against him? His bullies said so? They hate him! Of course they're gonna try to cause any problem they can for him. Until I see proof I don't believe Maximus did that to Dane. I hope I'm right. I'm rooting for the victim to get his act together and fly straight cause I do believe he'd be a faithful ally to Lucy and she needs one as bad as he needs to be treated with a little kindness. I think Lucy and Maximus could learn something from each other and I enjoyed the episode! But who knows what's going on with that building they ended up in? They're survivors tho... Right? 😅

Who cleaned up? Well IMO vault 31 did. since 33 is sealed up, no one would notice 31 going to 32 for clean up. And also IMO a lot more than just one day has passed since Norm and Chets last visit.

You are way over thinking it. Vault 33 isn't the only vault, so it stands to reason there are other vaults out there. You will love the next episode it makes up for this one. :-). I can't wait.

You are being WAY too hard on Maximus. He’s a good guy. He wanted to be honest with Thaddeus and he immediately rejected him. Night Titus was going to get him killed and a jerk, he had no choice but to let him die. Maximus has not had an easy life, all he wants is to be a part of something.
