Believe me, this tears are warranted. I've been an X-Men fan all my life. I was 12-13 years old when this came out in theaters and me and my mom were bawling

Kimmy you missed the post-credits scene. Professor Xavier survived. how? remember early in the film when Professor X was teaching students in his office, they viewed a video on a man with no "central nervous system"-no mind. he was in a hospital room in Scotland with a Doctor named Moira MacTaggert. what the film left out was that that man in bed was Professor X's twin brother. the man has no mind because it was all given to Charles Xavier in the womb. the Professor transferred his mind into his twin brother's body all the way in Scotland. in the post-credit scene, the Doctor is in the room and Professor X's voice (off screen) says ". . .hello, Moira. . ." she looks at him in startled disbelief saying ". . .Charles. . ?" we will see Professor Charles Francis Xavier again. in more ways than one, X-MEN: Days Of Future Past is a very satisfying movie and one of my favorite X-Men films. i'll stop right there.

I cried for a good 5 minutes during and after this scene when I saw this at the movies theatre. This movie wasn't received very well overall, but I think it was phenomenal!

and i see that you did see the post-credit scene. excellent. because not seeing that scene will make future X-Men movies very confusing. i remember seeing this film in the movies in 2006 at the AMC Loews theater on 34th street in Manhattan, New York. i knew enough to stay seated during the credits. most of the theater did not. they cleared out within minutes of the film's ending. when the movie screen lit up again, i knew i made the superior decision. that scene came on and i (and only i) was stunned. there wasn't a person with me as my eyes searched the empty seats after the scene ended. the commercials played on the screen as i exited the empty theater. . .with sooo many questions.
