Alice headed off WWOOFing as soon as she was old enough and therefore WWOOF is practically part of her DNA.
Land-based practical skills are more popular than ever within the dual challenges of the climate emergency and coronavirus, so now is the best time ever to explore the UK countryside and learn relevant knowledge in a very practical setting through hands-on experiences.

Can we visit the UK from Canada to WWOOF with current restrictions in place?

That's a good question right now. The answer is to take a look over on our website. Just a question, is wwoofing considered as a work for the administration or we are considered as tourists ? Also, the thing is, I'm still a minor, so I would need some more permissions ? Thanks ;)

Hi Sacha, Thank you for your interest in WWOOFing. To answer your first question, WWOOFing is volunteering. You could regard it as an energy exchange i.e. helping organic farmers and food growers in exchange for learning through hands-on experiences plus food and accommodation. So you are not volunteering for WWOOF UK, we are a membership organisation facilitating these volunteering opportunities. The minimum age for UK members is 16 years of age. If you are younger than this you'd need to be accompanied by a member of WWOOF UK to go WWOOFing. Here's a link to our website where everything is explained and more. Enjoy 🌻
