The turtle shop is opened by Farhat fisherie.
The turtles available at the turtle shop are legal with proper documentation.
This is for the first time in India that legal turtles are available to turtle buyers at a one stop turtle shop.

I have two red earred sliders turtles for more than 5 years. Things I have learned - they need water to eat food, so don't keep them in water for 24*7. I keep them in a big tub, so I change their water daily. They need ample of sunlight while growing up. Or as adults they will have problems with shell. They love soft fabrics, you can keep a piece of hanky or cotton cloth on their sleeping spot. As they grow they figure out how to use cloth, sometimes they use it as blanket. My turtles have 2-3 sleeping spots (under bed, under study table, sometimes open in a corner) depending upon the temperature of the day. They love to climb, I have kept pebbles in their sleeping spots. You can keep books, small bags, boxes on their path and they will climb on them. They can be trained. My turtles have fixed schedule (waking up, eating, pooping, sleeping times are fixed). However, with season it changes slightly. Eg: during winters they become slightly lazy. Feed them leafy veggies from early years, else they will refuse to eat it as an adult. They love prawns. Don't overfeed them, they are cute and act hungry all the time. But their portion should be as big as their head size. You can clean them using soft bristle toothbrush, once they are 3-4 inches long. Smaller once can be cleaned by hands. IMPORTANT : They love warm climate, if you live in place where temperature drops below 15°c think twice. They can't travel with you, they are sensitive to movements and can get scared. Be patient, and see them develop into amazing creatures. They are surprisingly very smart ❤

I also have to buy which turtle is sutible please tell me I have Indian turtle but it is illegal I have return to the shop Kepper In 4 months and I facing lots of problem during winter they do not eat food during winter so please tell Me what to do in winter and I have to buy turtle medicine like eye drops and mouth drops because his lower part has very damaged and has lack of vitamins so please tell how to buy turtle and what to do in winter and how many hours I had to keep in water and how many hours to get out of water and can I keep them in floor please tell me what to do

@@aogiritreev2 red Ear sliders are not illegal and are captively bred . They are native to south america. The turtles which are native to India are illegal to keep as pets.

HORRIBLE......the tanks are very very very crowded. The turtles are living in BAD conditions. the owner himself does not know how to raise turtles. Why in earth would you put an air pump in a turtle show tank?????????????

Note : Turtles are reptiles and breath air, despite they living in water. So they need to come up to the surface to breath oxygen from the air.

I had one red ear slider for almost 10 years and they do grow the size of hand palm and baby turtle need most care specially during winter as they always get sick in winter they need proper heater and basking area in their enclosure to absorb vitamin d for their shell and do require proper tánk with both water and ground area and rest they are very good pet as mine used to roam around whole house during day and at night in enclosure .

Folks, you seem to have lots of passion. I encourage you use this energy and passion to educate yourself about how to keep turtles - and be an example for other pet stores. Right now, the turtles are crammed into small plastic boxes and aquariums with an inch of water. Please understand you need much bigger space, much less turtles in the space, and a place for them to be dry at will and wet at will. Not your will. T h e i r will. And the dry place must have some nice lighting to replicate sunlight. I would normally write a very bad comment if I saw this, but the excitement and purity in your voices tell me you just don't know but you're good people. Best of luck to the turtles.

@@foreignbirb2579 People in my country basically normalized having multiple baby turtles in not even 10 gallon tanks with sometimes not even filters or heaters and its rare to see baby turtles with lamps in my country They have also normalized having adult turtles in small 40 gallon tanks with very weak filters, heaters and rarely lamps. It honestly breaks my heart

Im actually planning to get a turtle in a couple months cause rn im saving for everything i need (aka strong filters and heaters cause i have a 120 gallon tank, special lamps, vitamins and other stuff)
