OP prefers if you did also do sports or any non-academic activities. They put a lot of emphasis on variety in interests to make sure that their students have a balanced lifestyle to help prevent students from overstressing due to the workload. Try to put any non-academic activities on, even if they were just hobbies, rather put too much than too little. If you have not applied yet, you can even start something now and put it on. You can also put things on that you used to do, but don't do anymore. If you really don't have anything, take the chance and apply anyway, there is always a chance that they will be happy with rest of your application, and if not, you can alway start an activity now and reapply next year, just don't not apply because you are worried about not getting accepted, there is always a chance and if you don't go for it you will miss it. Hey! Vet nurses are only on main campus for the first semester of their first year, so they only have BSc modules for half of their first year, so if you transfer from BSc to vet nurse you will most likely need to start at first year again, but you might be able to get credit for some courses that you have completed To transfer from BSc to BVSc you need to take either BSc Biological Science, Zoology or BSc Agric in Animal Science I hope this helped 😁

Hey! For first year, it was anything from 2 - 8 hours a day, with an average of about 6 hours for first semester and 4 for second semester. For second year we have class from 8 to 1 with a 30 minute break and then practicals in the afternoons 😊

It is possible, but the university discourages students from studying vet nurse if they want to get into vet because that takes the place of a student who does want to become a nurse and since we do have a shortage of vet nurses in the country, it's not an ideal method

Hey! It depends on a lot of things, whether you are a private or a state vet, how many years experience you have and how big your client base is, but in general vets do get paid well. According to Google, vets have an average salary of R40 000, but it would vary a lot

@@aa7352 it depends on what you see as gross 😂 in second year we do a lot of animal dissections and from third year onwards we have pathology which involves looking at diseased organs, so if that grosses you out then yes we do gross stuff 😂 we work with dogs, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs
