US President Joe Biden has blamed travel fatigue for his poor performance in last week's Presidential debate with Donald Trump. Biden defended himself by stating, "I didn't listen to my staff and nearly fell asleep on the stage." His remarks come amidst panic within the Democratic party over his mental fitness ahead of US elections 2024, following a Texas congressman's call for Biden to step down after the debate. President Biden made another verbal slip when he was supposed to repeat his last sentence but instead read the instruction itself. Meanwhile, a survey by the Democrats show that Biden is losing in key states and that a different candidate may have a better chance against Donald Trump than Joe Biden.
